MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Arrival
Begin the flare with progressive back pressure and keep it coming until the sink is arrested, rather than flying it on flat.
What happened: The nose was barely raised in the flare and little of the sink was taken out, flying the aircraft onto the runway. This pattern usually carries through to a firm touchdown with a noticeable sink rate.
Watch for: Vertical speed indicator: a smoothly reducing sink through the normal flare band, not a steady rate into the runway.
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,833 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 95 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The 1.74 G arrival is the firm side of smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Naples Municipal Airport (KAPF), the Phenom 300E began its journey with a taxiing phase that lasted 14 minutes and covered 2 nautical miles. Upon reaching the runway, the aircraft initiated its departure roll on runway 05, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 124 knots. The takeoff distance of 357 meters, which accounted for 20% of the runway, was within the expected parameters.
As the aircraft climbed away from KAPF, it transitioned into an enroute climb phase, ascending from 1,061 feet above sea level to 40,492 feet in 12 minutes, covering a distance of 73 nautical miles. The climb rate was satisfactory, with a notable increase in altitude. Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, maintaining a steady altitude of 40,492 feet for 11 minutes while covering 84 nautical miles. The cruise phase was followed by a descent phase, where the aircraft descended from 40,488 feet to 2,172 feet in 27 minutes, covering 154 nautical miles. The descent was completed with a level cruise phase, lasting 4 minutes and covering 10 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 07 at North Eleuthera Airport (MYEH) was initiated from the southwest, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 68.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,226 feet above ground level. The landing was executed with a threshold speed of 104 knots and a touchdown speed of 102 knots, resulting in a touchdown distance of 93 meters. However, the touchdown rate was heavy at -692 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was significantly misaligned by 16.9 meters from the centerline. The total landing distance of 437 meters, accounting for 24% of the runway, was within the expected parameters. Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, covering less than 1 nautical mile in 1 minute. The total flight distance of 327 nautical miles was completed in 63 minutes, with a fuel consumption of 477 kilograms.
The aircraft touched down on runway 07 at MYEH North Eleuthera Airport, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 104 kt. The touchdown distance of 93 m was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 102 kt was also satisfactory. However, the touchdown rate of -692 fpm was considered heavy, indicating a slightly abrupt touchdown.
The aircraft's runway touchdown position was significantly misaligned from the centreline by 16.9 m, which was a notable deviation. This misalignment was also evident during the rollout phase, where the aircraft was 16.0 m off centreline. The crosswind component of 3 kt and headwind of 11 kt were relatively light, suggesting that the aircraft's alignment issues were not solely due to wind factors.
Despite the misalignment issues, the overall landing performance was satisfactory, with a total landing distance of 437 m, which accounted for 24% of the runway length. The approach quality was good, with a stable and controlled descent. However, the centreline alignment issues during touchdown and rollout phases detracted from the overall score, resulting in a final score of 83.9%.
