Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 594 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 594 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 334 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, which took 14 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna Skyhawk, then departed from runway 06 at EDLW Dortmund Airport. The takeoff distance was 201 meters, which accounted for 14% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 64 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 10 knots at 110 degrees. The crosswind was 8 knots, while the headwind was 6 knots. After departing from Dortmund Airport, the aircraft began its enroute level cruise, starting 1 mile west of Unna, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. This phase of the flight lasted 35 minutes and covered a distance of 45 nautical miles.
Upon reaching the final approach phase, the aircraft headed towards runway 22 at EDLO Oerlinghausen Airfield from the north-east, with a heading of 220.0 degrees at an altitude of 274 feet above ground level. The local weather conditions at this point were characterized by a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 4 knots at 136 degrees. The crosswind was 4 knots, while the headwind was 1 knot.
The landing on runway 22 at EDLO Oerlinghausen Airfield was notable for its long touchdown point, which used more than 50% of the available runway. The touchdown speed was 43 knots, which was considered good, and the touchdown rate was smooth at -126 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good. The total landing distance was 539 meters, accounting for 91% of the runway length.
After landing, the aircraft experienced a slight misalignment during the runway rollout, deviating by 9.3 meters from the centerline. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking area was brief, taking less than 1 minute and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 51 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 41 minutes. The aircraft used 15 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna Skyhawk successfully landed at EDLO Oerlinghausen Airfield, achieving an overall score of 85.0%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north east, heading 220.0° at 0 nm and 274 ft above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a smooth final approach, maintaining a good threshold height and speed of 62 kt.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft landed on the runway, utilizing more than 50% of the available length. The touchdown point was slightly long, but the touchdown speed of 43 kt was within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate was also smooth, at -126 fpm, indicating a controlled descent. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, demonstrating the pilot's ability to maintain a stable approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 5 °C and a wind speed of 4 kt from 136°. This resulted in a crosswind of 4 kt and a headwind of 1 kt, which the pilot effectively managed during the approach and landing. The total landing distance was 539 m, accounting for 91% of the runway length.
However, there was a slight deviation in the runway rollout alignment, with the aircraft being 9.3 m off the centreline. This minor misalignment may be attributed to the pilot's efforts to maintain control and stability during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot demonstrated good skills and judgment in executing the approach and landing.
