Tidy the taxi
It is very easy to taxi too fast when your field of view is limited by the monitor and the body doesn't experience the aircraft movement. Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The real technique is to slow before the turn, then turn at steady speed, not enter fast and reduce the speed with the brakes mid-arc.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,033 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 459 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft, an Airbus A321, taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, taking 7 minutes and covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 11, with the aircraft lifting off after a takeoff distance of 1,159 meters, which was 42% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 146 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of -10°C, with a wind speed of 16 knots at 89°.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile east of the airport and reaching an altitude of 30,007 feet above sea level. The climb was a significant one, with the aircraft increasing its altitude by 28,435 feet in just 13 minutes, covering a distance of 63 nautical miles. The enroute climb phase was followed by a level cruise, which started 5 miles southwest of Kawcze, Poland, and lasted for 29 minutes, covering a distance of 195 nautical miles.
The enroute cruise phase was interrupted by a descent, which began overhead Schnackenburg, Germany, and took the aircraft down from 30,004 feet to 3,194 feet above sea level, a decrease of 26,810 feet in just 16 minutes, covering a distance of 106 nautical miles. The descent was followed by another level cruise phase, which started overhead EDWD Lemwerder Airport, Lemwerder, Germany, and lasted for just 3 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The final descent phase began 1 mile northwest of Ganderkesee, Germany, and took the aircraft down from 2,504 feet to 1,389 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,114 feet in just 2 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 09 at Bremen Airport, flying from the west at a heading of 88.0° and at an altitude of 1,363 feet above ground level.
The landing took place on runway 09, which was 2,033 meters long, with the aircraft touching down at a speed of 133 knots, slightly above the target speed. The touchdown distance was good at 459 meters, but the touchdown speed was a little fast. The touchdown rate was fair at -229 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 7.6 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -1°C, with a wind speed of 13 knots at 110°.
The total landing distance was 1,260 meters, which was 62% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 7.7 meters from the centerline. After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking 3 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 384 nautical miles, taking a total of 73 minutes, and the aircraft used 3,433 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A321 successfully landed at EDDW Bremen Airport, achieving a score of 97.2%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 88.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,363 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was made to runway 09, which has a length of 2,033 meters.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down with a speed of 133 knots, which was slightly above the target speed. The touchdown distance was 459 meters, which was considered good. However, the touchdown rate of -229 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 7.6 meters.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -1°C and a wind speed of 13 knots from a direction of 110°. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 knots and a headwind of 12 knots. The total landing distance was 1,260 meters, which accounted for 62% of the runway length.
During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 7.7 meters. Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score despite some minor deviations from the target parameters.
