Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 2,194 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,194 m of the 3,596 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 431 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving a fantastic aircraft landing score of 98.7%! Your performance during the Approach Phase was outstanding, with excellent glideslope alignment which set the stage for a smooth landing.
During the Landing Phase, you demonstrated good control over the aircraft's threshold height and executed a very good landing flare, ensuring a safe and precise touchdown. While the touchdown rate was slightly harder than optimal and the speed a little above target, you still managed to bring the aircraft to a stop within the touchdown zone, showcasing your skill and precision.
Despite these minor points, you maintained a very impressive touchdown distance inside the touchdown zone, with the runway touchdown position only 3.4 meters from the centerline. This level of accuracy is commendable and reflects your commitment to performing at a high standard.
As you transitioned into the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good, further highlighting your ability to handle the aircraft with precision and finesse. Overall, your performance during this landing was exceptional, and your high score reflects the dedication and skill you bring to every flight. Keep up the great work and continue striving for excellence in all aspects of your aviation practice. Well done!
