Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,504 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,504 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 185 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna Longitude, then departed from runway 32 at Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas. The takeoff distance was 655 meters, which accounted for 20% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 133 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 6 knots at a direction of 29 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 6 knots and a headwind of 2 knots. The aircraft climbed to an altitude of 40,037 feet above sea level, an increase of 38,997 feet from the initial altitude of 1,040 feet, in 13 minutes and covering a distance of 54 nautical miles.
The enroute climb started over the Lynden Pindling International Airport, and the aircraft continued to climb to its cruising altitude. The enroute level cruise started 10 miles east of Congo Town Airport in Andros, Bahamas, and lasted for 62 minutes, covering a distance of 744 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent from 40,307 feet above sea level to 15,476 feet above sea level, a decrease of 24,831 feet, in 14 minutes and covering a distance of 92 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 42 miles north of Isla Grande in Panama and lasted for 9 minutes, covering a distance of 60 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent from 15,593 feet above sea level to 2,204 feet above sea level, a decrease of 13,388 feet, in 11 minutes and covering a distance of 28 nautical miles. The final enroute level cruise started 3 miles south east of Panamá Pacífico International Airport in Panama City and lasted for 4 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 01 at Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport was made from the south, with a heading of 5.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,133 feet above ground level. The landing was successful, with a touchdown speed of 100 knots and a touchdown rate of -192 feet per minute. The touchdown distance was 183 meters, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.1 meters from the centreline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 5 knots at a direction of 350 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 5 knots. The total landing distance was 774 meters, which accounted for 51% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was perfect.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 988 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 121 minutes. The aircraft used 2,384 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna Longitude successfully landed at MPMG Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport, achieving a score of 99.7%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south, heading 5.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,133 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, setting the stage for a smooth touchdown.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on runway 01, which has a length of 1,504 meters. The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 105 knots. The touchdown distance of 183 meters was also within acceptable limits, indicating a well-executed landing. The touchdown speed of 100 knots was good, and the touchdown rate of -192 feet per minute (fpm) was also satisfactory.
However, there was a slight deviation in the runway touchdown position, with the aircraft being 3.1 meters off-centerline. This minor misalignment did not significantly impact the overall landing performance. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 26°C and a gentle wind of 5 knots at 350°. The crosswind component was minimal at 1 knot, while the headwind component was 5 knots, which helped to stabilize the aircraft during the landing.
The total landing distance of 774 meters was 51% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's skill and control during the landing phase. Overall, the Cessna Longitude's landing at MPMG Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport was a success, with the aircraft performing well in various aspects of the landing procedure.
