MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 2,080 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,080 m of the 2,914 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 757 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight on the Boeing 737-800 began with a short 3-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway at FSIA Seychelles Intl. The departure roll on runway 13 covered a distance of 1,035 meters, which accounted for 44% of the runway length. The aircraft took off at a speed of 146 knots, facing local weather conditions of 28°C temperature with a wind of 11 knots coming from 119°, resulting in a 10-knot headwind and 1-knot crosswind.
The enroute climb started 1 mile southeast of the departure airport, ascending from 1,060 feet above sea level to a cruising altitude of 35,782 feet, covering a total distance of 211 nautical miles in 30 minutes. The aircraft then maintained level cruise for 67 minutes, covering 533 nm.
The descent phase began 79 miles northeast of Ivouani in Grande Comore, descending from 36,094 feet to 1,814 feet over a distance of 94 nm in 21 minutes. The landing occurred on runway 02 at FMCH Prince Said Ibrahim, with a runway length of 2,914 meters. The aircraft touched down at a speed of 123 knots, approximately 757 meters from the threshold. The landing speed was 134 knots, and the Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI) showed a descent rate of -303 ft/min. The local weather conditions at the destination airport were 28°C temperature with calm wind conditions.
After landing, the Boeing 737-800 taxiied for 2 minutes to reach the parking area, covering less than 1 nm. The total flight distance covered was 847 nm, with a total flight time of 1,551 minutes. The aircraft consumed 5,985 kg of fuel during the flight. The landing distance was 1,998 meters, which accounted for 69% of the runway length at the destination airport.
