MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out. These checks are the approach's score.

The rest of the report
The Boeing 737-800 taxied from the parking area to runway 06R at LEBL Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport in 10 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 06R, the aircraft used 4,804 ft of runway, representing 54 % of the available length, and lifted off at 155 kt; ambient temperature was 79 °F with wind from 279° at 8 kt, a 5-kt crosswind component and a 7-kt tailwind.
The initial climb began 1 nm east of LEBL, climbing from 1,106 ft asl to 3,999 ft asl-a gain of 2,894 ft-in 2 minutes while covering 7 nm.
A short cruise segment started 6 nm south-east of la Marina del Prat Vermell and lasted 3 minutes, during which the aircraft flew 14 nm.
A second climb commenced 17 nm south-east of Premia de Mar, ascending from 4,009 ft asl to 30,109 ft asl, an increase of 26,101 ft in 23 minutes over a distance of 130 nm.
The following cruise phase originated 70 nm south-west of Six-Fours-les-Plages, lasting 192 minutes and covering 1,240 nm.
A further climb started 7 nm north of Treimani, raising altitude from 31,961 ft asl to 33,292 ft asl, a gain of 1,331 ft in 3 minutes while traveling 26 nm.
The next cruise segment began 1 nm south-east of Raikkuela, lasting 5 minutes and encompassing 35 nm.
Descent began 4 nm west of EVSL Vitrupes lidlauks, dropping from 34,001 ft asl to 31,908 ft asl, a loss of 2,094 ft in 3 minutes across 23 nm.
A subsequent descent started 3 nm east of Saari, decreasing from 33,132 ft asl to 29,647 ft asl, a loss of 3,485 ft in 3 minutes while covering 25 nm.
Descent continued 5 nm east of Alavere, falling from 29,393 ft asl to 4,915 ft asl, a loss of 24,478 ft in 17 minutes over 91 nm.
A brief cruise followed 3 nm west of Habaja, lasting 3 minutes and spanning 14 nm.
The final descent started 3 nm south-west of Kehra, descending from 4,901 ft asl to 1,422 ft asl, a loss of 3,479 ft in 4 minutes across 13 nm.
On final approach to runway 26 at EETN Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, the aircraft descended from 1,352 ft agl to 83 ft agl in 117 seconds and was scored on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 26 was achieved with a threshold speed of 131 kt; touchdown occurred 1,616 ft beyond the touchdown zone at 116 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 252 fpm and a lateral deviation of 18 ft from the centreline. Local conditions were 72 °F, wind from 280° at 8 kt, a 1-kt crosswind and an 8-kt headwind. Total landing distance was 5,374 ft, representing 47 % of the runway, and rollout alignment was very good.
The runway rollout was noted as very good in alignment.
Taxi-in to the parking area required 1 minute and covered less than 1 nm.
Overall, the flight covered 1,626 nm, lasted 273 minutes, and consumed 22,252 lb of fuel.
The approach to runway 26 at EETN Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport was assessed as unstable at the 1,000 ft gate, being more than 5 kt below VREF. The aircraft descended from 1,352 ft agl to 83 ft agl in 117 seconds and was scored on the stabilisation gates.
During the threshold and flare phase the threshold height was good and the threshold speed was good at 131 kt. The final approach continued to runway 26 on a runway of 11,336 ft length under local conditions of 72 °F temperature, wind 8 kt from 280°, with a 1 kt cross-wind component and an 8 kt head-wind.
Touchdown occurred 1,616 ft beyond the touchdown zone with a touchdown speed of 116 kt, which was rated good. The vertical touchdown rate was fair at minus 252 fpm and the touchdown point was slightly misaligned by 18 ft from the centreline.
Rollout used a total landing distance of 5,374 ft, representing 47 % of the runway, and the runway rollout alignment was very good.
Maintain final-approach speed at or above VREF to achieve a stable approach and aim to touch down within the designated touchdown zone, which will reduce the overshoot distance and improve runway utilisation.
