Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,528 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,528 m of the 2,130 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 604 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A321 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Frankfurt Airport, taking 19 minutes and covering a distance of 4 nautical miles. Departure roll took place on runway 07C, with a takeoff distance of 1,403 meters, which was 35% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 158 knots.
As the aircraft climbed out of Frankfurt Airport, it encountered local weather conditions of 23°C temperature and a wind speed of 11 knots at 60°. The crosswind was minimal at 2 knots, while the headwind was 11 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Frankfurt Airport, with the aircraft ascending from 1,382 feet above sea level to 34,124 feet above sea level, an increase of 32,742 feet in 20 minutes, covering a distance of 101 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began overhead Everlange, Luxembourg, and lasted for 65 minutes, covering a distance of 480 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its descent 1 mile east of Ondres, France, and descended from 33,790 feet above sea level to 10,093 feet above sea level, a decrease of 23,697 feet in 12 minutes, covering a distance of 52 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started again 4 miles northwest of Urdiain, Spain, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent overhead Olaberria, Spain, and descended from 9,938 feet above sea level to 1,581 feet above sea level, a decrease of 8,357 feet in 9 minutes, covering a distance of 30 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 30 at Bilbao Airport was made from the southeast, heading 297.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,449 feet above ground level. The aircraft landed on runway 30, which had a length of 2,130 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 141 knots.
The touchdown point was 185 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 125 knots and an excellent touchdown rate of -95 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.0 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 21°C temperature and a wind speed of 13 knots at 330°, with a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 11 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,444 meters, which was 68% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area from the runway, taking 7 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 680 nautical miles, taking 131 minutes, and the aircraft used 5,610 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A321 successfully landed at LEBB Bilbao Airport, achieving a score of 96.4%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south east, heading 297.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,449 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was made to runway 30, which has a length of 2,130 meters.
The threshold height was reported as good, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 141 knots. This indicates that the aircraft may have been slightly faster than desired during the final approach. The touchdown point was 185 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which suggests that the aircraft may have been slightly long on the landing. However, the touchdown speed of 125 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -95 feet per minute (fpm) was excellent, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.0 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to the crosswind component of 7 knots. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 21°C and a wind speed of 13 knots at 330°. The crosswind component was relatively low, but the headwind component of 11 knots may have contributed to the slight misalignment of the touchdown.
The total landing distance was 1,444 meters, which is 68% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was well-controlled during the final approach and touchdown. The runway rollout alignment was very good, suggesting that the aircraft was well-aligned with the runway centerline during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft achieved a high score. However, there were some minor issues with the threshold speed and touchdown point, which may have been due to the wind conditions.
