Improve the rollout
Ground control varies with speed, full authority at walking pace, progressively reducing as groundspeed rises. The aircraft becomes twitchy at any speed, every small pedal input swings the nose, which can encourage large-amplitude leg inputs that no real aircraft would accept.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,538 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,538 m of the 3,329 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 723 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The aircraft taxied from the parking area to runway 28R at Dublin Airport (EIDW) in a period of 12 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 28R, the Boeing 737-800 accelerated through a take-off distance of 1,283 m, representing 48 % of the runway length, and lifted off at 157 kt. Ambient conditions were a temperature of 18 °C, wind 2 kt from 269°, with a 0 kt cross-wind component and a 2 kt head-wind component.
Climb commenced approximately 1 mile north-west of EIDW, with the aircraft ascending from 1,412 ft asl to 32,988 ft asl, an increase of 31,576 ft achieved in 19 minutes while covering 120 nm.
The first level cruise segment began about 2 miles south-east of Caerwys, Wales, and persisted for 32 minutes, during which 232 nm were flown.
Descent was initiated 14 miles east of Deal, England, with the aircraft descending from 32,999 ft asl to 1,989 ft asl, a loss of 31,010 ft over 21 minutes and a distance of 120 nm.
A subsequent level cruise segment started overhead Morkhoven, Belgium, lasting 6 minutes and covering 15 nm.
Final approach to runway 25R at Brussels Airport (EBBR) was conducted from the north-east, on a heading of 245.0° at 4 nm and 1,371 ft agl. The approach continued with a descent from 1,424 ft agl to 242 ft agl in 98 seconds, and the aircraft scored on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 25R, which is 3,329 m long, occurred with a threshold speed of 145 kt. Touchdown was recorded 306 m beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 135 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 160 fpm. The touchdown point was laterally offset by 7.9 m from the centreline. Local weather at the time was a temperature of 15 °C, wind 2 kt from 269°, a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 2 kt head-wind component. The total landing distance measured 1,457 m, equivalent to 44 % of the runway length.
Runway rollout alignment was slightly off, with a lateral deviation of 8.2 m from the centreline.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 8 minutes, traversing 2 nm.
In total, the flight covered 499 nm, took 97 minutes, and consumed 4,183 kg of fuel.
The Boeing 737-800 commenced its final approach to runway 25R at EBBR Brussels Airport from the north-east, tracking a heading of 245.0° at 4 nm and 1,371 ft agl. The approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits, and the aircraft descended from 1,424 ft agl to 242 ft agl in 98 seconds.
During the threshold and flare phase the aircraft maintained a good threshold height and achieved a threshold speed of 145 kt, which was judged good.
Touchdown occurred 306 m beyond the touchdown zone with a touchdown speed of 135 kt, both rated good, and a touchdown rate of -160 fpm, also good. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 7.9 m from the centreline.
The total landing distance was 1,457 m, representing 44 % of the runway length, and the rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.2 m from the centreline.
To refine the performance, focus on reducing the lateral deviation at touchdown to bring the touchdown point closer to the centreline, and maintain that alignment through the rollout to minimise the 8-metre rollout offset.
