Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,561 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 487 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 5 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 22R at HESH Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,323 meters, which accounted for 43% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 156 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 23 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 2 knots at a direction of 310 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 0 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, which started overhead HESH Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 1,100 feet above sea level to 37,976 feet above sea level, an increase of 36,876 feet in 39 minutes, covering a distance of 286 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 10 miles west of Tala, Egypt. This phase lasted for 178 minutes, covering a distance of 1,201 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 16 miles west of Giglio Castello, Italy. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 37,999 feet above sea level to 4,160 feet above sea level, a decrease of 33,839 feet in 29 minutes, covering a distance of 159 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 14 miles southeast of Antibes, France. This phase lasted for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 26 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent, which started 2 miles south of Cannes, France. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 3,927 feet above sea level to 1,301 feet above sea level, a decrease of 2,626 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 04L at LFMN Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport was made from the southwest, heading 45.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,280 feet above ground level. The aircraft landed on the runway, which had a length of 2,561 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 133 knots. The touchdown point was 67 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 119 knots and a touchdown rate of -192 feet per minute, both of which were good.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.2 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 11 knots at a direction of 330 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 11 knots and a headwind of 3 knots. The total landing distance was 935 meters, which accounted for 37% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 1,688 nautical miles, taking a total of 265 minutes and using 11,665 kilograms of fuel.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at LFMN Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport, achieving a high score of 98.0%. The final approach to runway 04L was conducted from the southwest, with a heading of 45.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,280 feet above ground level.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway, with the threshold height being satisfactory. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 133 kt. The touchdown point was located 67 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 119 kt was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -192 feet per minute was also good.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 5.2 meters, which may require some adjustments during the landing process. The local weather conditions at the time of landing included a temperature of 14°C, with a wind speed of 11 kt from a direction of 330°. This resulted in a crosswind of 11 kt and a headwind of 3 kt.
The total landing distance of 935 meters was 37% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was well-controlled during the landing process. Overall, the landing was successful, with only minor deviations from the ideal landing parameters.
