Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,138 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 452 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft, a Just Flight RJ100 British Airways model, taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Manchester Airport, EGCC. This process took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 23R, with a takeoff distance of 1,246 meters, which accounted for 51% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 144 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions of 6 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 1 knot at 150 degrees. The crosswind was 1 knot, while the headwind was 0 knots. The enroute climb began approximately 1 mile north of Mobberley in Cheshire East, England, and involved a significant ascent from 1,258 feet above sea level to 29,875 feet above sea level. This increase of 28,617 feet was achieved in 28 minutes, covering a distance of 163 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started overhead Findon in West Sussex, England. This phase lasted for 27 minutes and covered a distance of 315 nautical miles. The enroute descent began overhead Bouligney in Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France, and involved a descent from 29,843 feet above sea level to 2,686 feet above sea level. This decrease of 27,157 feet was achieved in 21 minutes, covering a distance of 92 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 14 at Zürich Airport, LSZH, was made from the north-west, with a heading of 137.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,274 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 14 was successful, with a runway length of 3,138 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 113 knots. The touchdown distance was 453 meters, and the touchdown speed was 103 knots, both of which were considered good. The touchdown rate was smooth at -133 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The local weather conditions at Zürich Airport were -1 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 4 knots at 320 degrees. The crosswind was 0 knots, while the tailwind was 4 knots. The total landing distance was 987 meters, which accounted for 31% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect. After landing, the aircraft taxiied to the parking area, a process that took 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
In total, the flight covered a distance of 579 nautical miles and lasted 89 minutes. The aircraft used 3,839 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The British Airways RJ100 aircraft has successfully landed at Zürich Airport (LSZH) with an impressive score of 98.9%. The final approach to runway 14 was initiated from the north-west, with the aircraft heading 137.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,274 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft's approach and landing were executed flawlessly, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 113 knots. The touchdown distance was also within acceptable limits, measuring 453 meters. The touchdown speed of 103 knots was well within the recommended range, and the touchdown rate was smooth at -133 feet per minute (fpm).
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline at the moment of touchdown. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -1°C and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 320°. The crosswind component was negligible, while the tailwind component was 4 knots.
The total landing distance of 987 meters was only 31% of the runway length, demonstrating the aircraft's excellent braking performance. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was a textbook example of a well-executed approach and landing, with the aircraft touching down smoothly and coming to a stop within a short distance.
