Improve the pattern base leg
Bank angle in the pattern is conventionally kept to 20 to 30 degrees, and the base-to-final turn is where that convention earns its keep. Stall speed rises with bank because the wing must produce more lift in a turn. Roughly 7 per cent higher at 30 degrees, about 19 per cent at 45, and around 40 per cent at 60. At 65 kt on base you don't have much margin to spend steepening a turn to salvage an overshoot.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply.
Side view — the last 878 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 878 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 217 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 32 at AGGN Nusatupe Airport, where the TBM 930 aircraft took off with a takeoff distance of 344 meters, which accounted for 39% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 82 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time were characterized by a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 6 knots from a direction of 352 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 3 knots and a headwind of 6 knots.
As the aircraft entered the left-hand pattern, it did so from runway 32, and the distance covered during this maneuver was less than 1 nautical mile in 16 seconds. The subsequent left-hand pattern crosswind was completed in a similarly short distance of less than 1 nautical mile in 13 seconds. The aircraft then proceeded to the pattern downwind turn, which covered a distance of 1 nautical mile and involved an angle of 71.9 degrees to the runway.
The downwind leg of the pattern was 2 nautical miles long and took 55 seconds to complete. The base leg turn, which followed, covered a distance of 2 nautical miles and involved an angle of 32.9 degrees to the runway. The base leg itself was less than 1 nautical mile long and took 18 seconds to complete. The final turn, which preceded the landing, was also less than 1 nautical mile in length and took 22 seconds to complete.
The final approach to runway 32 was made from the southeast, with the aircraft heading 332.0 degrees at a distance of 1 nautical mile and an altitude of 308 feet above ground level. The landing itself was successful, with the aircraft touching down on the runway at a speed of 76 knots, which was slightly faster than desired. The touchdown distance was 217 meters, and the touchdown rate was excellent at -58 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the runway rollout alignment was perfect. The total landing distance was 564 meters, which accounted for 64% of the runway. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 5 knots from a direction of 352 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 5 knots.
In conclusion, the flight was successful, with the aircraft landing safely on runway 32 at AGGN Nusatupe Airport. The total flight distance was 8 nautical miles, and the flight used 26 kilograms of fuel.
The TBM 930 aircraft successfully landed at AGGN Nusatupe Airport, achieving a high score of 98.1%. The final approach was conducted from the southeast, heading 332.0° at 1 nautical mile and 308 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft touched down on runway 32, which has a length of 878 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, but the threshold speed was slightly higher than ideal at 85 knots. However, the touchdown distance was good, measuring 217 meters. The touchdown speed of 76 knots was somewhat fast, but the touchdown rate of -58 feet per minute (fpm) was excellent, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 29°C and a gentle wind of 5 knots from 352°. The crosswind component was minimal at 2 knots, while the headwind component was 5 knots, which helped to stabilize the aircraft during the approach.
The total landing distance of 564 meters was 64% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, demonstrating the pilot's skill and control during the landing phase. Overall, the landing was successful, with the aircraft touching down smoothly and coming to a stop in a controlled manner.
