Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 9,206 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,251 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at UKBB Boryspil International Airport, a process that took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 18L, taking off with a takeoff distance of 1,485 feet, which accounted for 11% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 94 knots.
As the aircraft climbed, it started its enroute climb overhead UKBB Boryspil International Airport, rising from an altitude of 1,445 feet above sea level to 30,604 feet above sea level, an increase of 29,159 feet in just 20 minutes. This climb covered a distance of 67 nautical miles. The local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were characterized by a temperature of 56 degrees Fahrenheit, with a wind speed of 3 knots at 107 degrees.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 13 miles northeast of Buky in the Cherkasy Oblast, Ukraine. This phase lasted for 18 minutes and covered a distance of 94 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 10 miles northwest of Mykolayivka in the Odeska Oblast, Ukraine. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 30,578 feet above sea level to 1,441 feet above sea level, a decrease of 29,137 feet in 28 minutes, covering a distance of 78 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 34 at UKOO Odessa International Airport was made from the south, with the aircraft heading 343.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,266 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing was smooth, with the touchdown speed being 63 knots and the touchdown rate being -118 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 74 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 59 degrees Fahrenheit, with a wind speed of 1 knot at 180 degrees. The crosswind was negligible, and there was a tailwind of 1 knot. The total flight distance was 247 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 75 minutes. The aircraft used 536 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet has successfully landed at UKOO Odessa International Airport, achieving a remarkable score of 99.9%. The aircraft's final approach to runway 34 was conducted from the south, with a heading of 343.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,266 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the Vision Jet touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, indicating a precise and controlled descent. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 73 kt, registering at 74 kt. Despite this minor deviation, the touchdown distance of 1,246 feet was deemed good, suggesting a well-executed landing.
The touchdown speed of 63 kt was also within acceptable limits, and the touchdown rate of -118 feet per minute (fpm) was smooth, indicating a gentle and controlled impact with the runway. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, further emphasizing the pilot's skill and precision in navigating the aircraft to a safe landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 59°F and a wind speed of 1 kt from a direction of 180°. The crosswind component was negligible at 0 kt, and the tailwind component was minimal at 1 kt. These conditions likely contributed to the successful landing, as they presented minimal challenges for the pilot to navigate the aircraft to a safe touchdown. Overall, the Vision Jet's landing at UKOO Odessa International Airport was a testament to the aircraft's capabilities and the pilot's expertise.
