Improve the rollout
Ground control varies with speed, full authority at walking pace, progressively reducing as groundspeed rises. The aircraft becomes twitchy at any speed, every small pedal input swings the nose, which can encourage large-amplitude leg inputs that no real aircraft would accept.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 377 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 377 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 121 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Kodiak 100 taxied from the parking area to runway 08 at EDNW Weißenhorn Airfield in less than 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 08, the aircraft used 284 m of runway, representing 44 % of the available length, and lifted off at 68 kt; ambient conditions were 6 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 195°, a 2 kt cross-wind component and a 1 kt tail-wind component.
Climb commenced overhead Weißenhorn, rising from 2,252 ft asl to 5,259 ft asl - a gain of 3,007 ft - in 2 minutes while covering 5 nm.
Level cruise began over Illertissen, lasting 7 minutes and extending for 23 nm.
Descent started 2 miles south of Bad Wurzach, descending from 5,196 ft asl to 1,821 ft asl - a loss of 3,375 ft - in 7 minutes and traversing 19 nm.
The aircraft landed on runway 03 at EDYW Wildberg, whose length is 377 m; the threshold speed was recorded at 76 kt, above the target, and touchdown occurred 120 m down the runway at 69 kt with a descent rate of minus 254 fpm, the touchdown point being 4.9 m off the centreline; local weather was 5 °C with a wind of 3 kt from 84°, a 2 kt cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind component.
Rollout distance totaled 306 m, equivalent to 81 % of the runway, and alignment during the rollout was judged very good.
In total, the flight covered 48 nm, required 20 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 56 kg of fuel.
The aircraft entered the final segment with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 76 kt, which was well above the target. Local weather was 5 °C with a wind of 3 kt from 084°, including a 2 kt cross-wind component and a 2 kt head-wind component, on runway 03 of EDYW Wildberg whose length is 377 m.
Touchdown occurred 120 m down the runway, a distance judged good, at a speed of 69 kt that was a little fast. The vertical rate at touchdown was fair at minus 254 fpm, and the aircraft touched down 4.9 m off the centreline. The total landing distance measured 306 m, representing 81 % of the available runway.
Rollout alignment was very good, with the aircraft remaining centred for the remainder of the 377 m runway after the 306 m landing roll.
To improve the score, reduce the threshold and touchdown speeds toward their targets to lower the vertical rate and tighten the touchdown point. Maintaining precise speed control through the flare will also help keep the touchdown location closer to the centreline.
