Flight Score
Reduce your height at the threshold
Even a modest height error carries straight through to the touchdown. Geometry alone says that crossing the threshold 10 feet high on a 3° path moves your touchdown roughly 190 feet further down the runway before the flare adds anything.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 11,336 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 2,000 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The aircraft taxied from the parking area to runway 24L at LEBL Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, a movement that lasted 17 minutes and covered 4 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 24L, the takeoff run measured 3,676 ft, representing 42 % of the runway length, and the aircraft lifted off at 149 kt. Ambient conditions were a temperature of 76 °F, wind 8 kt from 280°, with a crosswind component of 5 kt and a headwind component of 7 kt.
The initial en-route climb commenced overhead LEBL, climbing from 948 ft asl to 26,998 ft asl, an increase of 26,050 ft achieved in 14 minutes while covering 94 nm.
A level cruise segment began 12 miles south-east of S'Agaro, lasting 2 minutes and extending 12 nm.
A second climb segment started 14 miles south-east of Llafranc, raising the aircraft from 27,002 ft asl to 29,998 ft asl, an increase of 2,996 ft in 3 minutes over a distance of 26 nm.
The subsequent cruise phase originated 36 miles east of Begur, persisting for 154 minutes and covering 1,245 nm.
Descent began 5 miles north-east of Valjala, with the aircraft descending from 29,999 ft asl to 1,209 ft asl, a loss of 28,791 ft in 19 minutes while traversing 100 nm.
On final approach to runway 26 at EETN Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, the aircraft descended from 1,117 ft agl to -90 ft agl in 117 seconds and was scored on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 26 was executed with a runway length of 11,336 ft; the threshold height was 77 ft agl and the threshold speed was 128 kt. Touchdown occurred 622 ft beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 124 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 85 fpm and a lateral deviation of 13 ft from the centreline. Local weather reported a temperature of 72 °F, wind 8 kt from 280°, a crosswind of 1 kt and a headwind of 8 kt. The total landing distance recorded was 4,347 ft, equivalent to 38 % of the runway.
Runway rollout alignment was very good, and the aircraft decelerated within the expected distance parameters.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area, a movement of less than 1 nm that required 4 minutes.
Overall, the flight covered a total distance of 1,489 nm, took 209 minutes, and consumed 21,971 lbs of fuel.
The Boeing 737-800 approached runway 26 at EETN Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport with a stabilised profile at the 1 000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits. Descent proceeded from 1 117 ft agl to -90 ft agl in 117 seconds, contributing to the overall score of 95.4 %.
At the threshold the height of 77 ft agl was well above the target, while the threshold speed of 128 kt was recorded as good. The flare was executed from this altitude and speed, preparing the aircraft for touchdown.
Touchdown occurred 622 ft beyond the touchdown zone with a speed of 124 kt, judged good, and a vertical rate of -85 fpm, judged excellent. The touchdown point was offset 13 ft from the centreline, and the aircraft required a total landing distance of 4 347 ft, representing 38 % of the 11 336 ft runway.
Rollout alignment was very good as the aircraft decelerated along the runway. Local weather was 72 °F with wind 8 kt from 280°, including a 1 kt crosswind component and an 8 kt headwind.
Minor refinements should focus on achieving the intended threshold height to meet the target and improving centreline alignment at touchdown, which will further optimise runway usage and maintain the high overall score.
