Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 10,014 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,799 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Cessna Longitude taxiing from the parking area to the runway at KARR Aurora Municipal Airport, taking approximately 3 minutes and covering less than 1 nautical mile. Departure roll took place on runway 27, with a takeoff distance of 2,341 feet, which accounted for 36% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 134 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it encountered local weather conditions of a temperature of 63°F and a wind of 2 knots at 270°. The crosswind was negligible, and the headwind was 2 knots. The enroute climb started 1 mile west of KARR Aurora Municipal Airport and continued for 6 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,844 feet above sea level to 20,011 feet above sea level, an increase of 18,167 feet. This climb covered a distance of 28 nautical miles.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, which started 1 mile southeast of 75IS Reinke Airport in Rochelle, Illinois. This cruise phase lasted for 52 minutes and covered a distance of 334 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, starting overhead 09MO Hogue Farm Airport in Willard, Missouri. The descent from 19,991 feet above sea level to 14,706 feet above sea level, a decrease of 5,285 feet, took 5 minutes and covered 33 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, which started 6 miles northeast of Sarcoxie, Missouri, and lasted for 7 minutes, covering 44 nautical miles. The next descent started overhead Miami, Oklahoma, and took the aircraft from 14,517 feet above sea level to 7,120 feet above sea level, a decrease of 7,396 feet, in 5 minutes and covering 23 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, which started overhead White Oak, Oklahoma, and lasted for 12 minutes, covering 23 nautical miles. The final descent started 1 mile northwest of OK20 Sageeyah Airfield in Claremore, Oklahoma, and took the aircraft from 6,983 feet above sea level to 1,894 feet above sea level, a decrease of 5,090 feet, in 4 minutes and covering 13 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 18L at KTUL Tulsa International Airport was made from the north, heading 183.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,254 feet above ground level. The landing took place on a runway with a length of 10,014 feet, and the threshold height was good. The threshold speed was slightly above the target at 115 knots.
The touchdown point was 399 feet beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 103 knots, which was good. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -258 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 28 feet from the centerline. Local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 59°F and a wind of 2 knots at 270°, with a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 0 knots.
The total landing distance was 2,811 feet, which accounted for 28% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 27 feet from the centerline. Taxiing to the parking area from the runway took approximately 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 504 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 94 minutes. The aircraft used 7,171 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna Longitude successfully landed at KTUL Tulsa International Airport, achieving a score of 94.1%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north, heading 183.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,254 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was made to runway 18L, which has a length of 10,014 feet.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold height was reported as good, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 115 knots. The touchdown point was 399 feet beyond the touchdown zone, indicating a slight deviation from the ideal landing spot. The touchdown speed of 103 knots was considered good, but the touchdown rate of -258 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair.
The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 28 feet from the centreline, which may have contributed to the slight deviation from the ideal landing spot. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 59°F, with a wind speed of 2 knots from 270°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind and headwind.
The total landing distance of 2,811 feet was 28% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 27 feet from the centreline, which may have been a result of the initial touchdown position being off-centre.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a good touchdown speed and a relatively short landing roll. However, there were some minor deviations from the ideal landing spot, which may be addressed in future training or adjustments to the aircraft's approach and landing procedures.
