Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,737 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 377 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on the landing overall! You achieved a respectable score of 88.0%, which is a strong result. Let's break down the different phases of the landing to see where you excelled and where there is room for improvement.
In the Approach Phase, it looks like there were a couple of slight issues with the descent path and speed. Your descent was slightly above the glideslope limit, and your speed was slightly below target. These are areas where you can focus on making adjustments in future landings to ensure a smoother approach.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, there were some positives and areas for improvement. Your threshold height was above target, but you did execute a good landing flare. This shows that you have a good understanding of the touchdown technique, and with some practice, you can fine-tune your threshold height to improve your overall score.
In the Touchdown Phase, there were some strong points to highlight. Your touchdown rate was good, and your speed was on target. Additionally, you landed within the touchdown zone, which is essential for a safe and successful landing. The only area for improvement here is the runway touchdown position being slightly off-center. Focus on maintaining alignment with the centerline in future landings.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was slightly off-center at 14.0 m from the centerline. Paying attention to maintaining a straight path during the rollout phase can help improve your overall landing score.
Overall, your landing had many positive aspects, and with some adjustments and practice, you can continue to improve your performance. Keep up the good work and continue to focus on the specifics of each phase of the landing to achieve even better results in the future. Great job!
