Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,111 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 381 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, your aircraft landing score of 92.3% is quite impressive! Let's break it down further to see where you excelled and where there is room for improvement.
During the Approach Phase, the poor descent path above the glideslope limit and slightly below target speed can be areas to focus on for improvement. Ensuring a smoother descent and maintaining the correct speed can help improve the overall approach process.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it is great to see that you had a good threshold height and a great landing flare. However, the firm touchdown rate and being slightly off target with the runway touchdown position may be areas to work on. Aim for a softer touchdown and better positioning on the runway to further enhance your landing technique.
In the Touchdown Phase, it is commendable that your touchdown speed was on target and that you landed well within the touchdown zone. Keep up the good work in this area.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, while your runway alignment was slightly off at 13.8m from the centerline, this is a relatively minor issue compared to the overall performance. Pay attention to runway alignment in future landings to ensure a more precise touchdown.
Overall, your landing performance is impressive, but there are areas that can be improved upon. Keep up the good work and continue practicing to fine-tune your landing skills. With dedication and persistence, you can achieve even higher landing scores in the future. Great job!
