MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,699 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 361 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The TBM-930 taxied from the parking area to runway 33 at SKLC Antonio Roldán Betancur Airport in 5 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 33, the aircraft accelerated over 884 m, representing 42 % of the runway length, and lifted off at 110 kt; ambient conditions were 31 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 0°, a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 1 kt head-wind component.
Climb commenced approximately 1 mile northwest of SKLC near Carepa, with the aircraft ascending from 775 ft asl to 6 880 ft asl-a gain of 6 105 ft-in 7 minutes while traversing 25 nm.
Cruise began about 1 mile southeast of Apartado and continued for 50 minutes, during which the flight covered 219 nm at level altitude.
Descent was initiated roughly 6 miles northwest of El Retén, with the aircraft descending from 6 900 ft asl to 1 123 ft asl, a loss of 5 777 ft in 8 minutes while covering 23 nm.
The final approach to runway 01 at SKSM Simón Bolívar International Airport was flown from the south on a heading of 359.0°, intercepting the glide path at 4 nm and 1 104 ft agl.
Landing on runway 01 was achieved with a threshold speed of 94 kt, a touchdown distance of 360 m, a touchdown speed of 83 kt, and a touchdown rate of minus 155 fpm; the touchdown point was offset 6.1 m from the centreline, and the total landing roll measured 776 m, equivalent to 46 % of the runway length.
Runway rollout alignment was reported as very good, and the aircraft came to a stop within the expected distance.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in less than 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 275 nm, required 75 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 228 kg of fuel.
The TBM 930 executed the final approach to runway 01 at SKSM Simón Bolívar International Airport from the south, tracking a heading of 359.0 ° at 4 nm and 1,104 ft agl. The approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope and centreline all within limits. Ambient conditions were 31 °C with wind 3 kt from 30 °, a 2 kt cross-wind component and a 3 kt head-wind component.
At threshold the aircraft encountered a good threshold height and the threshold speed was well above target at 94 kt. The flare proceeded without reported deviation.
Touchdown occurred 360 m down the runway, with a touchdown speed of 83 kt that was noted as a little fast. The vertical rate at touchdown was good at minus 155 fpm, and the touchdown point was slightly misaligned by 6.1 m from the centreline.
The total landing distance was 776 m, representing 46 % of the 1,699 m runway, and the rollout alignment was very good.
To refine the already strong performance, reduce the approach and touchdown speeds toward the target values to minimise the slight excess observed, and aim to keep the touchdown point within a tighter centreline tolerance. Maintaining these adjustments will help preserve the high score while enhancing precision.
