Shorten the long landing
Ground effect becomes significant below about one wingspan of height. A Cessna 172, with a 36 ft span, enters ground effect at flare height - the float it feels in the hold-off is ground effect arriving on cue. An A320, with a span around 117 ft, has been in ground effect since before the threshold and there is no sudden cushion to feel, only a gradual reduction in induced drag that lengthens any float you allow.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,533 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,136 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
First of all, congratulations on successfully landing the aircraft despite facing some challenges during various phases of the landing! Your ability to handle a 17 kn crosswind is definitely commendable.
Let's break down your landing score to see where improvements can be made.
In the Approach Phase, it seems like there were some issues with maintaining the descent path and speed control. It's important to ensure that you are consistently on the correct glide path and keeping your speed within the target range to set yourself up for a smooth landing.
During the Landing Phase, it appears that the threshold height was higher than desired and the landing flare could have been improved. It's crucial to make sure you're flaring at the right time and height to achieve a smooth touchdown.
Moving on to the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was fair, and it's great that your speed was on target. However, landing further down the runway than necessary and being off centerline can be areas for improvement. Aim to touchdown closer to the designated touchdown zone and strive for better alignment with the runway centerline.
Overall, while there were some areas that could be improved upon, you should be proud of successfully handling the landing under challenging conditions. Keep practicing and focusing on precision in each phase of the landing process, and you'll continue to improve your landing scores. Great job!
