MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,524 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,269 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Cessna Skyhawk started with a 5-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway at LTAC Esenboğa International Airport. The departure roll on runway 21C covered 845 meters, which was 23% of the total runway length. The liftoff speed was 75 knots, with a temperature of 3°C and a wind of 8 knots at 229°, resulting in a 2-knot crosswind and an 8-knot headwind.
The departure climb from the runway to 50 feet above ground level (agl) and then to 400 feet agl and 1,000 feet agl went smoothly. The enroute climb started 2 miles southwest of the airport, climbing from 4,047 feet above sea level (asl) to 6,485 feet asl in 5 minutes, covering 8 nautical miles.
During the enroute level cruise, the aircraft flew for 60 minutes, covering 205 nautical miles. The descent phase started 7 miles southeast of Gozler, descending from 7,460 feet asl to 2,537 feet asl in 4 minutes, covering 9 nautical miles. The aircraft then climbed again enroute, starting overhead Pamukkale and climbing from 2,537 feet asl to 3,346 feet asl in 2 minutes, covering 4 nautical miles.
After a short enroute level cruise lasting 3 minutes and covering 3 nautical miles, the final approach to landing took place 3 miles north of Merkezefendi. The touchdown speed was 51 knots, with a good touchdown rate of -180 feet per minute. However, the touchdown point was excessively long, using more than 75% of the available runway. The landing rollout covered 166 meters, with an altitude of 698 feet asl.
Exiting the runway, the average speed was 2 knots, and the total flight distance was 236 nautical miles. The flight duration was 84 minutes, and 162 pounds of fuel were used.
