Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
Side view — the last 6,579 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 6,579 ft of the 10,480 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,698 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 6 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a FNX320_TCACFM, then departed from runway 10 at Princess Juliana International Airport (TNCM) in Saint Martin. The takeoff distance was 4,484 feet, which is 60% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 148 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 82°F and a wind speed of 4 knots at 80°.
As the aircraft climbed, it started enroute climb 1 mile south of Marigot, Saint Martin, and reached an altitude of 38,145 feet above sea level (asl) after climbing 37,360 feet in 26 minutes, covering a distance of 116 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise began 8 miles west of Cyril E. King Airport (TIST) in Saint Thomas Island, United States Virgin Islands, and lasted for 128 minutes, covering 820 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 27 miles southwest of Andros Town Airport (MYAF) in Andros Island, Bahamas, and the aircraft descended from 38,282 feet asl to 4,525 feet asl, a decrease of 33,757 feet in 30 minutes, covering 145 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise began again 5 miles northwest of Lindbergh's Landing Airport (FA35) in Miami, Florida, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering 5 nautical miles.
The final descent started 10 miles northwest of FA35 Lindbergh's Landing Airport in Miami, Florida, and the aircraft descended from 4,072 feet asl to 1,301 feet asl, a decrease of 2,772 feet in 6 minutes, covering 15 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 08R at Miami International Airport (KMIA) from the west, heading 87.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,280 feet above ground level (agl).
The landing on runway 08R at KMIA was successful, with a touchdown point 330 feet beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 124 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was -160 feet per minute, which was also good. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 68°F and a wind speed of 0 knots at 228°.
The total landing distance was 6,311 feet, which is 60% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 1,108 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 201 minutes. The aircraft used 16,956 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The aircraft, FNX320_TCACFM, successfully landed at Miami International Airport (KMIA) on runway 08R. The final approach was initiated from the west, heading 87.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,280 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft demonstrated excellent control and precision during the approach, ultimately achieving a good threshold height.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft maintained a suitable threshold speed of 131 knots, which is a critical factor in ensuring a safe and controlled landing. The touchdown point was located 330 feet beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation but still within acceptable limits. The touchdown speed of 124 knots was also within the recommended range, and the touchdown rate of -160 feet per minute (fpm) was good, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 68°F and a wind speed of 0 knots from 228°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind and headwind, making the landing even more straightforward. The total landing distance of 6,311 feet was 60% of the available runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight.
The runway rollout alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft maintained its direction and speed during the post-landing phase. Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, resulting in a high score of 99.2%. This achievement is a testament to the pilot's skill and experience, as well as the aircraft's performance capabilities.
