MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,326 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,326 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 431 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at LaGuardia Airport, taking 12 minutes and covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 31, with a takeoff distance of 494 meters, which accounted for 23% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 102 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were characterized by a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 1 knot from a direction of 270 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 1 knot. The aircraft then began its enroute level cruise, starting overhead Edgewater, New Jersey, and lasting for 2 minutes while covering a distance of 4 nautical miles.
The enroute climb started overhead Little Ferry, New Jersey, and involved a significant increase in altitude, from 1,424 feet above sea level to 4,956 feet above sea level, a rise of 3,532 feet in 4 minutes while covering 13 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then resumed, starting 1 mile east of Wykagyl, New York, and lasting for 2 minutes while covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent, starting 2 miles southwest of Old Greenwich, Connecticut, and involving a decrease in altitude from 5,497 feet above sea level to 1,484 feet above sea level, a drop of 4,012 feet in 5 minutes while covering 20 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 06 at Igor I Sikorsky Memorial Airport was made from the southwest, heading 40.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,468 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 06 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 428 meters and a touchdown speed of 76 knots. The touchdown rate was smooth at -149 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.9 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 2 knots from a direction of 276 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 1 knot and a tailwind of 1 knot.
The total landing distance was 718 meters, accounting for 54% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good, and the aircraft was able to taxi to the parking area in 3 minutes, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 55 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 22 minutes, with no fuel being used during the flight.
The Vision Jet has successfully landed at KBDR Igor I Sikorsky Memorial Airport, achieving a score of 97.0%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southwest, heading 40.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,468 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the runway's length of 1,326 meters.
Upon landing, the aircraft demonstrated good threshold height and speed, touching down at 93 knots. The touchdown distance was also satisfactory, measuring 428 meters. The touchdown speed of 76 knots was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown rate was smooth at -149 feet per minute (fpm). However, there was a slight deviation in the runway touchdown position, with the aircraft being 4.9 meters off-centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a gentle wind of 2 knots from 276°. The crosswind and tailwind components were minimal, at 1 knot each. The total landing distance of 718 meters was 54% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. The runway rollout alignment was excellent, demonstrating the pilot's skill and control during the landing phase. Overall, the Vision Jet's landing performance was impressive, with the pilot executing a precise and controlled touchdown.
