Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,649 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,649 m of the 3,595 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 626 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The Airbus A320 then departed from runway 30R at OBBI Bahrain International Airport, with a takeoff distance of 1,836 meters, which was 55% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 168 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions of 20°C temperature and a wind speed of 23 knots at 340 degrees. The crosswind component was 14 knots, while the headwind component was 18 knots. After departing from Bahrain, the aircraft began its enroute climb, which started overhead the airport and continued for 14 minutes, covering a distance of 76 nautical miles. The aircraft climbed from an altitude of 1,024 feet above sea level to 25,482 feet above sea level, an increase of 24,458 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 11 minutes and covered a distance of 99 nautical miles. The cruise phase started 44 miles northeast of Fuwayrit, Qatar. After the cruise phase, the aircraft began its enroute descent, which started 41 miles west of OIBS Siri Airport in Iran. The descent phase lasted for 21 minutes, covering a distance of 99 nautical miles, and took the aircraft from an altitude of 25,556 feet above sea level to 1,340 feet above sea level, a decrease of 24,216 feet.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its final approach to runway 30L at OMDB Dubai International Airport from the southeast, heading 302.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,297 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The aircraft landed on the runway, which had a length of 3,595 meters. The threshold height was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 140 knots.
The touchdown point was 212 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 131 knots, which was good. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -237 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 11.4 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 26°C temperature and a wind speed of 7 knots at 341 degrees, with a crosswind component of 4 knots and a headwind component of 5 knots.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 284 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 56 minutes. The aircraft used 2,414 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed on runway 30L at Dubai International Airport (OMDB) with a score of 92.8%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southeast, heading 302.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,297 feet above ground level (agl).
The final approach was executed with a good threshold speed of 140 knots, which is within the acceptable range for a safe landing. However, the threshold height was slightly above the target, indicating a minor deviation from the ideal approach path. The touchdown point was 212 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which may indicate a slight over-shooting of the intended landing spot.
The touchdown speed of 131 knots was within the acceptable range, indicating a controlled descent and a good handling of the aircraft during the landing phase. However, the touchdown rate of -237 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair, suggesting that the aircraft may have touched down with a slightly higher rate of descent than desired.
The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 11.4 meters from the centerline, which may indicate a slight deviation from the intended landing path. This misalignment was also observed during the runway rollout, where the aircraft was 11.3 meters off-centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 26°C and a wind speed of 7 knots from 341°. The crosswind component was 4 knots, while the headwind component was 5 knots, which may have contributed to the slight misalignment of the touchdown and rollout positions.
Overall, the landing was successful, but with some minor deviations from the ideal approach and landing path. The aircraft's performance and handling were good, but there is room for improvement in terms of precision and control during the landing phase.
