MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 7,011 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,675 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport, the aircraft began its journey on runway 32, taking off with a distance of 1,980 feet, which accounted for 26% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 138 knots, with a local temperature of 61°F and a gentle headwind of 1 knot. The wind direction was from the west, with a crosswind component of 2 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to 10,025 feet above sea level, it traversed a distance of 16 nautical miles in just 4 minutes, demonstrating a steep rate of climb. The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, maintaining an altitude of 10,025 feet for 3 minutes as it covered 22 nautical miles. This pattern of climb and cruise was repeated several times, with the aircraft climbing to 10,608 feet above sea level and then leveling off for another 3-minute period. The descent phase began 5 miles southeast of Bremond, with the aircraft losing 7,586 feet in altitude over a distance of 33 nautical miles in 7 minutes.
The final approach to runway 01 at Waco Regional Airport was initiated from the south, with the aircraft descending from 3,000 feet above sea level to 1,766 feet in just 2 minutes. The touchdown point was 276 feet beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 104 knots and a rate of descent of -195 feet per minute. The total landing distance was 2,801 feet, accounting for 40% of the runway length. Following a smooth rollout, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, concluding its journey of 124 nautical miles, which had taken 30 minutes and consumed 6,436 pounds of fuel.
The aircraft, C750, successfully executed a final approach to runway 01 at KACT Waco Regional Airport from the south, aligning with the runway heading of 14.0° at a distance of 4 nm and an altitude of 1,246 ft above ground level. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 117 kt, indicating a well-controlled descent.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft landed 276 ft beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 104 kt and a touchdown rate of -195 fpm, both of which were within acceptable limits. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, demonstrating precise control during the landing phase. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 59°F and a wind of 2 kt at 270°, contributed to a relatively calm environment for the landing.
The total landing distance of 2,801 ft, which accounted for 40% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 36 ft from the centreline, indicating a minor deviation from the desired path. Despite this, the overall performance of the landing was satisfactory, earning a score of 96.0%.
