Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,817 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,817 m of the 3,654 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 517 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-200ER, then departed from runway 33R at OERK King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The takeoff distance was 1,773 meters, which accounted for 42% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 156 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 14 knots at a direction of 20 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 11 knots and a headwind of 9 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile northwest of the airport and ascending from an altitude of 3,052 feet above sea level to 38,370 feet above sea level, an increase of 35,318 feet in 24 minutes, covering a distance of 163 nautical miles.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 23 miles northwest of OEBQ Abqaiq Airport in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This phase lasted for 35 minutes and covered a distance of 287 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb, this time from 38,918 feet above sea level to 40,265 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,347 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 14 nautical miles. The climb started 12 miles north of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 6 miles northeast of OMF1 Yas Island Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. This phase lasted for 119 minutes and covered a distance of 992 nautical miles. As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its descent, starting 10 miles west of OP19 Chashma Airport in Pakistan. The descent from 40,014 feet above sea level to 3,913 feet above sea level, a decrease of 36,101 feet in 23 minutes, covered a distance of 94 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered a short level cruise phase, which started 2 miles south of OPSA Sanjwal Airport in Pakistan. This phase lasted for 4 minutes and covered a distance of 6 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 10R at OPIS Islamabad International Airport was made from the west, heading 101.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,253 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 10R was successful, with a touchdown point 86 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 125 knots, which was good, while the touchdown rate was fair at -214 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius.
The total landing distance was 1,722 meters, which accounted for 47% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 1,565 nautical miles, taking a total of 224 minutes, and the aircraft used 24,362 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 777-200ER aircraft successfully landed at Islamabad International Airport's runway 10R, achieving a high score of 98.6%. The final approach was conducted from the west, heading 101.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,253 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft's approach was well-executed, with a good threshold height and speed of 135 knots at the threshold.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft landed 86 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 125 knots was within the acceptable range, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. However, the touchdown rate of -214 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair, suggesting that the aircraft could have been brought down more gently.
Despite the slightly higher-than-ideal touchdown rate, the runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 20°C.
The total landing distance of 1,722 meters was 47% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. This suggests that the pilot was able to bring the aircraft down quickly and efficiently, with minimal use of brakes. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was a success, with the aircraft touching down smoothly and coming to a stop in a relatively short distance. The high score of 98.6% reflects the pilot's skill and expertise in executing a safe and efficient landing.
