Hold the glidepath
Preparing for a stable approach will give you time to decide on whether to attempt the landing or going around. Too much altitude with a high sink rate will result in carrying too much speed onto the runway. Configuring flaps and the gear late also won't help the speed decay.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out. These checks are the approach's score.

The rest of the report
The aircraft taxied from the parking area to runway 33L at Kuwait International Airport (OKKK) in 12 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 33L, the Boeing 777-300ER accelerated through a takeoff distance of 6,656 ft, representing 60 % of the runway, and lifted off at 173 kt; ambient temperature was 96 °F with calm wind (0 kt from 216°) and no cross- or head-wind component.
Climb commenced one mile south of Al Farwaniyah, rising from 1,098 ft asl to 37,983 ft asl-a gain of 36,885 ft-over 18 minutes while traversing 119 nm.
The first cruise segment began 29 nm north-east of Al Qaisumah/Hafr Al Batin Airport (OEPA) and continued for 92 minutes, during which the aircraft covered 693 nm at level altitude.
Descent started 32 nm north of Abu Rudeis (HE29), descending from 37,990 ft asl to 2,510 ft asl, a loss of 35,480 ft, in 20 minutes and over a distance of 121 nm.
A brief level cruise followed one mile north-east of Al Jizah Airport (HEAJ), lasting 2 minutes and covering 6 nm before the final approach.
The final approach to runway 05C at Cairo International Airport (HECA) reduced altitude from 1,551 ft agl to 120 ft agl in 95 seconds, and the aircraft met the stabilisation gate criteria.
Landing on runway 05C was executed with a threshold height of 63 ft agl, slightly above target, and a threshold speed of 148 kt; touchdown occurred 1,049 ft beyond the touchdown zone at 135 kt, with a smooth vertical speed of minus 141 fpm and a lateral deviation of 12 ft from the centreline. Local conditions were 75 °F with a 4 kt wind from 50°, no cross-wind and a 4 kt head-wind. The total landing roll measured 6,671 ft, equivalent to 50 % of the runway length, and rollout alignment was very good.
After touchdown, the aircraft rolled out on the runway with the previously noted alignment quality before taxiing to the parking area, a movement that took 6 minutes and covered 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 950 nm, required 151 minutes of airborne time, and consumed 37,410 lb of fuel.
The Boeing 777-300ER approached runway 05C at HECA Cairo International Airport in a stabilised manner at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits. The aircraft descended from 1,551 ft agl to 120 ft agl in 95 seconds, and the approach was scored on the stabilisation gates. Local weather was 75 °F with wind 4 kt from 050°, giving a 4 kt headwind and zero crosswind.
At threshold the aircraft was 63 ft agl, which was above the target height, and the threshold speed of 148 kt was recorded as good. The flare proceeded from this altitude and speed, transitioning to touchdown.
Touchdown occurred 1,049 ft beyond the touchdown zone with a speed of 135 kt, both judged good, and the vertical rate was smooth at -141 fpm. The touchdown point was slightly off centreline by 12 ft.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 6,671 ft, representing 50 % of the 13,290 ft runway, and runway rollout alignment was very good.
Coaching should focus on achieving the target threshold height and tightening centreline alignment at touchdown to convert the already strong performance into an even more precise landing.
