Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,855 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 417 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on an outstanding aircraft landing score of 99.2%! Your performance during each phase of the landing process was truly impressive and demonstrates your exceptional skills as a pilot.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, indicating a high level of precision and control. This is crucial for setting up a smooth and safe landing. Your ability to maintain proper altitude and descent rate shows a strong understanding of the aircraft's handling characteristics.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you displayed good threshold height and executed a perfect landing flare. This indicates that you have a keen sense of timing and a steady hand when it comes to making those final adjustments before touchdown. Your ability to control the descent and transition smoothly to the runway surface is commendable.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was excellent, suggesting a soft and controlled landing. While your speed was slightly above target, your ability to adjust and still achieve a successful touchdown demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in challenging situations. Your touchdown distance inside the touchdown zone and runway touchdown position were very good, showcasing your ability to consistently hit your mark with precision.
Lastly, during the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was within 4.4 meters from the centerline. While there is always room for improvement, this minor deviation is understandable given the complexities of landing an aircraft.
