Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,135 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 183 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 5 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 16 at KECP Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, with a takeoff distance of 20 meters, which is 1% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 149 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 14 knots at 189 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 12 knots. The aircraft then took off and began its enroute climb, which started overhead KECP Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. The climb took 15 minutes and covered a distance of 65 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,098 feet above sea level to 33,818 feet above sea level, an increase of 32,721 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, which started 3 miles north of Munson, Florida. This cruise phase lasted for 108 minutes and covered a distance of 778 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 2 miles southwest of the 12PA Helicopter Applicators Inc Heliport in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The descent took 14 minutes and covered a distance of 86 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from 33,526 feet above sea level to 9,137 feet above sea level, a decrease of 24,388 feet.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, which started 2 miles west of Mahwah, New Jersey. This cruise phase lasted for only 2 minutes and covered a distance of 5 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent, which started overhead Viola, New York. The descent took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 21 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from 9,233 feet above sea level to 1,245 feet above sea level, a decrease of 7,988 feet.
The final approach to runway 22 at KLGA LaGuardia Airport was made from the northeast, with a heading of 212.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,227 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 22, which has a length of 2,135 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 126 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 182 meters, and the touchdown speed was 123 knots, which was also good.
However, the touchdown rate was very heavy at -848 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.5 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were the same as at the time of departure, with a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 14 knots at 189 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 knots and a headwind of 13 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,204 meters, which is 56% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 11.4 meters from the centerline. After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking from the runway, which took 9 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 964 nautical miles, and the flight took 162 minutes. The aircraft used 4,478 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The CRJ900 aircraft successfully landed at KLGA LaGuardia Airport, achieving an overall score of 88.5%. The final approach was initiated from the north-east, heading 212.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,227 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft successfully touched down on runway 22, which has a length of 2,135 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed of 126 knots was also within acceptable limits. The touchdown distance of 182 meters was within the expected range, and the touchdown speed of 123 knots was also good. However, the touchdown rate was quite heavy, at -848 feet per minute (fpm), which may indicate a slightly aggressive approach.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline by 3.5 meters, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the approach path. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 19°C, with a wind speed of 14 knots from 189°. The crosswind component was relatively light at 5 knots, while the headwind component was 13 knots.
The total landing distance of 1,204 meters was 56% of the runway length, which is within the expected range. However, the runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned from the centreline by 11.4 meters, which may indicate a slight deviation in the aircraft's alignment during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was satisfactory, but there is room for improvement in terms of approach path alignment and touchdown rate.
