Improve the pattern downwind leg
Spacing cues are relative to your eyepoint, so two simmers with different FOV settings following the same wingtip cue fly patterns half a mile different in width, and a wide FOV compresses depth so the runway on base looks further away than it is, biasing you towards a late turn. Pick a camera position and FOV, save it, and never change it, because every judgement you calibrate is calibrated to that picture.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply.

The rest of the report
The Kodiak 100 taxied to runway 08 at EGBP Cotswold Airport and commenced the departure roll, accelerating through a take-off distance of 937 m which represented 52 % of the available runway. Liftoff was achieved at 83 kt. Ambient conditions were a temperature of 15 °C with a wind from 270° at 2 kt; crosswind was 0 kt and a tailwind component of 2 kt.
The aircraft entered a right-hand pattern from runway 08, covering a distance of less than 1 nm in 26 seconds.
Subsequently it proceeded on the right-hand crosswind leg, again traveling less than 1 nm and completing the segment in 10 seconds.
During the downwind turn the aircraft described a 2 nm arc, aligning to the runway at an angle of 55.0° relative to the 45-degree reference.
The downwind leg itself measured 1 nm and was flown in 37 seconds.
The base-leg turn was a 2 nm maneuver with an angle to the runway of 96.2° measured against the 45-degree reference.
The base leg that followed was less than 1 nm in length and was completed in 13 seconds.
The final turn to the runway spanned 2 nm and required 99 seconds to execute.
Landing was made on runway 26, whose length is 1,786 m. The threshold speed was slightly above the target at 77 kt. Touchdown occurred 265 m down the runway at a speed of 68 kt, with a vertical rate of minus 15 fpm and perfect alignment to the runway centreline. Weather at the time remained temperature 15 °C, wind 2 kt from 270°, crosswind 0 kt and a headwind component of 2 kt.
The rollout was aligned perfectly, and the total landing distance recorded was 560 m, representing 31 % of the runway length.
In total the flight covered 8 nm, required 5 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 10 kg of fuel.
The aircraft crossed the threshold at a height described as good, with a threshold speed recorded at 77 kt, noted as slightly above the target value.
Touchdown occurred 265 m down the runway at a speed of 68 kt, both judged good, with a vertical rate of -15 fpm described as perfect and runway touchdown alignment also perfect.
Rollout continued with a total landing distance of 560 m, representing 31 % of the 1,786 m runway, and runway rollout alignment was perfect.
Maintain the high overall performance reflected by the 96.1 % score, but reduce the approach speed to meet the target threshold speed, ensuring the aircraft reaches the threshold at the intended velocity.
