Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.

Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,786 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 179 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Cotswold Airport, the Beechcraft A36 Bonanza began its takeoff roll on runway 26, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 75 kt in a distance of 333 m, which accounted for 21% of the available runway length. The aircraft lifted off into a calm local environment, with a temperature of 15 °C and a gentle headwind of 1 kt.
As the aircraft transitioned into the enroute climb phase, it began to ascend from an initial altitude of 678 ft above sea level to 1,103 ft, a vertical gain of 425 ft in just 1 minute. This climb was achieved while covering a horizontal distance of 1 nm, demonstrating the aircraft's efficient climb performance. Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, maintaining an altitude of 1,103 ft for 3 minutes while covering a distance of 5 nm. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 26 at Cotswold Airport, aligning itself with the runway at a heading of 258.0° and an altitude of 120 ft above ground level.
The landing was executed smoothly, with the aircraft touching down on the runway at a speed of 60 kt and a touchdown distance of 179 m, which accounted for 11% of the available runway length. The touchdown rate was a perfect 28 fpm, and the runway touchdown alignment was spot on. Following touchdown, the aircraft rolled out to a stop in a distance of 487 m, which represented 30% of the available runway length. The total flight distance was 8 nm, and the aircraft consumed 69 kg of fuel during the 6-minute flight.
The final approach to runway 26 at EGBP Cotswold Airport from the east was executed with precision, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 258.0° at 0 nm and 120 ft above ground level. The approach quality was excellent, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 74 kt, well within the acceptable range. As the aircraft touched down on the runway, the touchdown distance of 179 m was satisfactory, and the touchdown speed of 60 kt was also within the desired parameters. Notably, the touchdown rate of 28 fpm was perfect, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, with the aircraft centered on the runway centerline. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 20 °C and a gentle wind of 3 kt at 232°, contributed to a relatively straightforward landing. The crosswind component was minimal at 1 kt, while the headwind component of 2 kt provided a slight assist. The total landing distance of 487 m, which accounted for 30% of the runway length, was acceptable.
The rollout phase was equally impressive, with the aircraft maintaining perfect alignment on the runway centerline. The overall performance of the landing was exceptional, with a score of 99.8% reflecting the high level of proficiency demonstrated by the pilot. The combination of good approach quality, precise touchdown, and controlled rollout resulted in a safe and efficient landing on runway 26 at EGBP Cotswold Airport.
