Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 2,032 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,032 m of the 3,198 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 852 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport, taking 14 minutes and covering a distance of 3 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 15L, with a takeoff distance of 2,542 meters, which was 76% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 179 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 21°C temperature and winds of 11 knots at 79°. The crosswind was 10 knots, while the headwind was 6 knots. The enroute climb started 1 mile west of Eringate-Centennial-West Deane, Ontario, Canada, and took the aircraft from 1,531 feet above sea level to 34,862 feet above sea level, an increase of 33,331 feet in 25 minutes, covering a distance of 147 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 6 miles east of CRM5 Wheatly (Robinson Motorcycles) Airfield Coatsworth, Ontario, Canada, and lasted for 89 minutes, covering a distance of 683 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another enroute climb 8 miles northeast of Heidelberg, Mississippi, United States, taking it from 35,264 feet above sea level to 37,400 feet above sea level, an increase of 2,135 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 26 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 2 miles northwest of MS92 Heigle Field Mayersville, Mississippi, United States, and lasted for 129 minutes, covering a distance of 969 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent 7 miles southeast of El Estor, Departamento de Izabal, Guatemala, and took it from 37,505 feet above sea level to 1,347 feet above sea level, a decrease of 36,158 feet in 21 minutes, covering a distance of 122 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 07 at Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport was made from the southwest, heading 70.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,252 feet above ground level. The landing took place on runway 07, which had a length of 3,198 meters. The threshold height was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 138 knots.
The touchdown point was 442 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 125 knots, which was good. The touchdown rate was perfect at -28 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 25°C temperature and winds of 7 knots at 210°, with a crosswind of 5 knots and a tailwind of 5 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,957 meters, which was 61% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area from the runway, taking 4 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 1,958 nautical miles, taking a total of 285 minutes, and the aircraft used 11,806 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at MSLP Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport, achieving a high score of 91.4%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southwest, heading 70.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,252 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon final approach, the aircraft maintained a good speed of 138 knots at the threshold, which is the point where the runway begins. The touchdown point was 442 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, indicating a slight deviation from the ideal landing spot. However, the touchdown speed of 125 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -28 feet per minute (fpm) was perfect, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 25°C and a gentle wind of 7 knots from 210°. The crosswind and tailwind components were both 5 knots, which is relatively minimal and did not pose a significant challenge to the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,957 meters was 61% of the runway length, indicating that the aircraft had sufficient runway remaining to safely stop. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, suggesting that the aircraft maintained a stable and controlled trajectory during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was executed well, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating good control and stability throughout the approach and landing phases.
