Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,786 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 737 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The 0.07 G arrival is the firm side of smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Cotswold Airport, Kemble, in Gloucestershire, England, the Sirius aircraft began its takeoff roll on runway 26. The aircraft accelerated down the 1,220-meter runway, utilizing 75% of its available length, before lifting off at a speed of 58 knots. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a gentle headwind of 1 knot from a direction of 269°.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it transitioned into the enroute climb phase, ascending from an initial altitude of 514 feet above sea level to 461 feet, a net gain of 53 feet over a period of one minute. This climb phase covered a distance of 2 nautical miles, demonstrating a steady and controlled rate of ascent. The aircraft continued to climb, eventually reaching its cruising altitude.
Upon approaching Cotswold Airport for landing, the Sirius aircraft touched down on runway 26, a 1,618-meter-long surface. The touchdown speed of 42 knots was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown rate of -2 feet per minute was ideal. However, the aircraft's touchdown point was slightly offset from the centerline, by 3.2 meters. The total landing distance of 713 meters, representing 44% of the available runway length, was well within the acceptable range. Following touchdown, the aircraft rolled out to a stop, maintaining perfect alignment with the runway centerline. The total flight distance of 3 nautical miles was completed in just 2 minutes, with no fuel being consumed during the flight.
The approach to runway 26 at EGBP Cotswold Airport was executed with precision, with a good threshold height allowing for a controlled descent. The threshold speed, however, was above the target at 62 kt, indicating a slightly steeper than desired approach angle. Despite this, the touchdown point was 183 m beyond the touchdown zone, a relatively minor deviation.
The touchdown characteristics were commendable, with a speed of 42 kt and a rate of -2 fpm, indicating a smooth and controlled touchdown. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.2 m from the centreline, a minor deviation that could be improved upon. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 15 °C and a light headwind of 1 kt, contributed to a stable and predictable approach.
The total landing distance of 713 m, accounting for 44% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. The rollout alignment was perfect, with the aircraft maintaining a straight course along the centreline. Overall, the landing was executed with a high degree of proficiency, earning a score of 90.9%.
