Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 9,879 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 797 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 5 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Vision Jet, then departed from runway 35 at OEMA Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The takeoff distance was 1,939 feet, which accounted for 14% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 96 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 80°F and winds of 17 knots at 30 degrees. The crosswind was 11 knots, while the headwind was 12 knots. After departing from the airport, the aircraft began its enroute climb, which started overhead OEMA Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 3,162 feet above sea level to 30,413 feet above sea level, an increase of 27,251 feet, in 20 minutes and covering a distance of 67 nautical miles.
Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 9 miles northeast of Jada'ah in the Medina Region, Saudi Arabia. This phase lasted for 56 minutes and covered a distance of 270 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 27 miles west of Z26K Al Bir Highway Strip Al Bir in the Tabuk Region, Saudi Arabia. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 30,736 feet above sea level to 1,886 feet above sea level, a decrease of 28,850 feet, in 16 minutes and covering a distance of 53 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 01 at OJAQ Aqaba King Hussein International Airport was made from the south, with a heading of 17.0 degrees at 3 nautical miles and 1,722 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 01, which had a length of 9,879 feet. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 75 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 792 feet, and the touchdown speed was 65 knots, which was also good. However, the touchdown rate was fair at -202 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 77°F and winds of 17 knots at 349 degrees. The crosswind was 8 knots, while the headwind was 15 knots. The total landing distance was 1,834 feet, which accounted for 19% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good. After landing, the aircraft took 2 minutes to taxi to the parking, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 399 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 104 minutes. The aircraft used 670 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet has successfully landed at OJAQ Aqaba King Hussein International Airport, achieving a score of 97.8%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south, heading 17.0° at a distance of 3 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,722 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, aligning the aircraft with the runway threshold.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft landed on runway 01, which has a length of 9,879 feet. The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 75 knots. The touchdown distance of 792 feet was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 65 knots was also good. However, the touchdown rate of -202 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair, indicating that the aircraft could have been brought down to the ground more smoothly.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 77°F and a wind speed of 17 knots from 349°. The crosswind component was 8 knots, while the headwind component was 15 knots. The pilot effectively managed the wind conditions, ensuring a stable and controlled approach.
The total landing distance of 1,834 feet was only 19% of the runway length, indicating a short and efficient landing. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, demonstrating the pilot's skill and control during the landing phase. Overall, the Vision Jet's landing at OJAQ Aqaba King Hussein International Airport was a success, with the pilot executing a precise and controlled approach, touchdown, and rollout.
