Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 3,912 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the full 3,912 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 951 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, this landing had a few areas that need improvement but also had several positive aspects.
In the Approach Phase, the descent path was below the glideslope limit which is something that can be corrected with more practice and attention to detail. However, the heading alignment and speed were both very good which shows a strong understanding of proper approach techniques.
During the Landing Phase, the threshold height was too low and the landing flare was very poor. These are areas that can be improved with more focus on altitude control and timing of the flare. Despite this, the touchdown rate was excellent, the speed was good, and the distance was very good which are all signs of good piloting skills.
It is important to note that a tailwind of 7 knots was present during the landing which is a safety concern and should be avoided whenever possible.
In the Rollout Phase, the runway alignment was good which shows good control of the aircraft during the landing rollout.
Overall, this landing had both positive and negative aspects but with some practice and focus on improving the areas that need work, the pilot can continue to develop their skills and become a more proficient and confident aviator. Keep up the hard work and continue striving for excellence in all phases of flight.
