Departure
On the roll, make small rudder corrections against a point at the far end of the runway to hold the centreline within 4.8 m.
What happened: The takeoff roll drifted off the centreline by 4.8 m, and excess bank then carried through all three climb segments. A drifted roll like this usually leads into wandering bank angle through the climb.
Watch for: Watch the heading indicator and runway centreline during the roll, and the attitude indicator for wings level through the climb.

Arrival
Reduce power earlier on final so threshold speed settles at 68 kt instead of carrying it into the flare.
What happened: You crossed the threshold at 102 kt, well above the 68 kt target speed, and that excess speed was still showing at touchdown. Crossing the threshold fast usually carries straight through to a fast touchdown.
Watch for: Airspeed indicator against 68 kt on short final.
Every knot above Vref is stored kinetic energy, and energy stored at the threshold must be dissipated in ground effect before the aeroplane will stop flying. Because kinetic energy scales with the square of speed, the excess you must dissipate grows fast. At a 45-knot approach, five knots hot is over a tenth more speed and roughly a quarter more energy to get rid of in ground effect. This is why the fix is never in the flare. It was decided three miles earlier, on final, at the airspeed indicator.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,398 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 583 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Innsbruck Airport, taking approximately 5 minutes and covering less than 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 08, with a takeoff distance of 524 meters, which accounted for 28% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 89 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions of 23°C temperature and a wind speed of 4 knots at 260°. The crosswind was negligible, but there was a tailwind of 4 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Innsbruck, where the aircraft ascended from 2,918 feet above sea level to 7,884 feet, an increase of 4,966 feet in just 2 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began overhead Mils bei Solbad Hall, lasting 3 minutes and covering 12 nautical miles. The aircraft then started another climb, this time from 7,889 feet to 8,507 feet, an increase of 618 feet in 2 minutes, covering 7 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise resumed overhead Telfs, lasting 7 minutes and covering 28 nautical miles.
As the flight continued, the aircraft started its descent 1 mile south of Nesselwang, Germany, descending from 8,502 feet to 5,061 feet, a decrease of 3,441 feet in 2 minutes, covering 7 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise began again 1 mile south of Betzigau, lasting 53 minutes and covering 146 nautical miles.
The final descent started overhead Hoeheinoed, Germany, where the aircraft descended from 4,594 feet to 2,350 feet, a decrease of 2,244 feet in 3 minutes, covering 5 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 21 at Zweibrücken Airport was made from the northeast, heading 210° at 4 nautical miles and 1,227 feet above ground level.
The landing took place on runway 21, which had a length of 2,398 meters. The threshold height was well above the target, and the threshold speed was excessively high at 102 knots. The touchdown point was 153 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 88 knots, which was also excessively fast. The touchdown rate was fair at -256 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 11.9 meters from the centerline.
The total landing distance was 823 meters, accounting for 34% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 10.4 meters from the centerline. Taxiing to the parking area from the runway took less than 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 219 nautical miles, taking approximately 80 minutes, and the aircraft used 242 kilograms of fuel.
The Vision Jet aircraft has successfully landed at EDRZ Zweibrücken Airport, but the landing was not without its issues. The final approach to runway 21 was initiated from the north east, heading 210.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,227 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down 153 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a significant deviation. The touchdown speed of 88 knots was also excessively high, indicating that the pilot may have been unable to slow the aircraft down sufficiently before touchdown. The touchdown rate of -256 feet per minute (fpm) was fair, suggesting that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft during the landing.
The threshold height at 72 feet agl was well above the target, which may have contributed to the high touchdown speed. The threshold speed was also excessively high at 102 knots, indicating that the pilot may have been unable to slow the aircraft down sufficiently before reaching the threshold.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 25°C and a wind speed of 5 knots at 270°. The crosswind was 4 knots, and the headwind was 2 knots, which may have contributed to the difficulties experienced during the landing.
The total landing distance of 823 meters was 34% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 10.4 meters from the centerline, indicating that the pilot may have had difficulty maintaining control of the aircraft during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was not without its issues, and the pilot may have benefited from additional training or practice to improve their skills and reduce the risk of accidents.
