MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,757 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 477 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on your aircraft landing! You achieved an impressive score of 98.0%, which is a testament to your skill and precision as a pilot.
During the Approach Phase, you demonstrated excellent glideslope alignment and maintained a speed well above the target. This shows that you have a keen eye for detail and can accurately judge distances and speeds during the crucial moments leading up to the landing.
In the Landing Phase, while the threshold height was slightly above target, you executed a perfect landing flare. This indicates that you have a good understanding of the aerodynamics involved in making a smooth touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was good and your speed was only a little above the target. Although the touchdown point was slightly beyond the designated zone, your runway touchdown position was very good, showcasing your ability to make quick adjustments and corrections as needed.
Lastly, during the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good, further demonstrating your mastery of handling the aircraft during the final stages of the landing process.
Overall, your performance was exceptional, and your dedication to honing your skills as a pilot is evident. Keep up the great work, and continue striving for excellence in all your future landings. Well done!
