MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: seven checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
At the 500 ft gate: off the runway's 3° glideslope and off the centreline.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,558 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 283 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at EDES Darmstadt AAF, a process that took 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 07, with a takeoff distance of 230 meters, which accounted for 29% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 90 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 2°C and a wind speed of 16 knots at 37 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 9 knots and a headwind of 13 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting overhead EDES Darmstadt AAF, and climbed from an altitude of 691 feet above sea level to 14,481 feet above sea level, an increase of 13,790 feet, in 14 minutes and covering 55 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, starting 1 mile northeast of Ispringen, Germany, and lasted for 14 minutes, covering 66 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting overhead Stockach, Germany, and descended from 14,536 feet above sea level to 2,312 feet above sea level, a decrease of 12,225 feet, in 12 minutes and covering 42 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise was then restarted, this time overhead Schanis, Switzerland, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering 3 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 19 at LSZM Mollis Airfield, approaching from the north at a heading of 184.0 degrees, at 1 nautical mile and 478 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 19 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 280 meters, which was good, and a touchdown speed of 78 knots, which was also good. The touchdown rate was excellent at -72 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 2°C and a wind speed of 7 knots at 33 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 2 knots and a tailwind of 6 knots.
The total landing distance was 528 meters, which accounted for 34% of the runway. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 12.4 meters from the centerline. The total flight distance was 168 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 47 minutes, with a fuel consumption of 183 kilograms.
The Vision Jet has successfully landed at LSZM Mollis Airfield, achieving a score of 89.5%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north, heading 184.0° at 1 nautical mile and 478 feet above ground level (agl). The landing was executed on runway 19, which has a length of 1,558 meters.
The pilot maintained a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 89 knots. The touchdown distance was also good, measuring 280 meters. The touchdown speed of 78 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -72 feet per minute (fpm) was excellent, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 2°C and a wind speed of 7 knots from 33°. The crosswind component was minimal at 2 knots, while the tailwind component was 6 knots. These conditions did not appear to have a significant impact on the landing.
However, the pilot did experience a slight misalignment during the runway rollout, deviating from the centerline by 12.4 meters. Despite this, the overall landing performance was satisfactory, and the aircraft came to a stop within a reasonable distance of 528 meters, which is 34% of the runway length.
Overall, the Vision Jet's landing at LSZM Mollis Airfield was successful, with the pilot demonstrating good control and precision throughout the approach and landing phases. While there were some minor deviations from the ideal performance, the aircraft's systems and the pilot's skills were able to compensate, resulting in a safe and controlled landing.
