MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,667 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 278 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving an impressive aircraft landing score of 97.4%! Your performance during each phase of the landing process was truly commendable.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, demonstrating a high level of precision and skill. While your speed was slightly below target, this minor deviation did not hinder the overall success of the landing.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you exhibited a good threshold height and executed a perfect landing flare. Your ability to gauge the optimal moment for the flare showcases your proficiency in handling the aircraft during critical moments.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was smooth and your speed was right on target. Additionally, landing within the designated touchdown zone and achieving an ideal runway touchdown position reflect your exceptional accuracy and control.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, although there was a slight deviation of 7.4 meters from the centerline in terms of runway alignment, this minor discrepancy does not diminish the overall outstanding performance displayed throughout the landing process.
Overall, your attention to detail, skillful execution, and ability to maintain composure under pressure have contributed to this impressive landing score. Keep up the excellent work and continue striving for perfection in your future flights. Well done!
