MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Departure
Make small rudder corrections against a point at the far end to hold the centreline.
What happened: During the ground roll you drifted 14 m off the runway centreline.
Watch for: Watch runway alignment against the centreline, correcting with small rudder inputs.
See Departure Roll
Arrival
Begin the flare with progressive back pressure and keep it coming until the sink is arrested, rather than flying it on flat.
What happened: The nose was barely raised in the flare and little of the sink was taken out, flying the aircraft onto the runway. This pattern usually carries through to a firm touchdown with a noticeable sink rate.
Watch for: Vertical speed indicator: a smoothly reducing sink through the normal flare band, not a steady rate into the runway.
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,012 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 798 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 737-MAX 8 taxied from the parking area to the departure runway in a duration of 5 minutes, covering a distance of 1 nm.
The aircraft commenced its departure roll on runway 17 at MDSD Las Américas International Airport, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 151 kt. The takeoff run measured 2,380 m, representing 71 % of the available runway. Ambient conditions were 31 °C with a wind of 3 kt from 110°, including a 2 kt crosswind component and a 2 kt headwind.
Climb began 1 mile south of MDSD, with the airplane ascending from 953 ft asl to 34,009 ft asl, a gain of 33,056 ft achieved in 18 minutes while traversing 118 nm.
The first cruise segment started 4 miles southwest of Postrer Rio and was maintained for 104 minutes, during which the aircraft covered 795 nm at level flight.
Descent commenced 47 miles northeast of MRBC Barra del Colorado Airport, with altitude decreasing from 33,231 ft asl to 10,300 ft asl, a loss of 22,931 ft over 14 minutes and a distance of 87 nm.
A second cruise phase began 6 miles east of Pital, lasting 9 minutes and encompassing 44 nm of level flight.
The subsequent descent started 2 miles northeast of Desamparados, dropping from 9,925 ft asl to 4,338 ft asl, a reduction of 5,587 ft in 4 minutes while covering 12 nm.
For the final approach to runway 07 at MROC Juan Santamaría International Airport, the aircraft approached from the southwest on a heading of 69.0°, intercepting the glide path at 4 nm and 1,345 ft agl.
Landing on runway 07 was executed with a runway length of 3,012 m; the threshold height of 62 ft agl was above target, while the threshold speed of 138 kt was within expectations. Touchdown occurred 381 m beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 128 kt and a vertical rate of minus 227 fpm. The touchdown point was offset 9.0 m from the centreline. Weather at the time was 28 °C with a wind of 7 kt from 89°, including a 2 kt crosswind and a 6 kt headwind.
The landing roll measured 1,304 m, equivalent to 43 % of the runway, and the rollout alignment was slightly off centreline by 8.4 m.
After exiting the runway, the aircraft taxied to the parking area in 2 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 1,064 nm, required 159 minutes of flight time, and consumed 5,628 kg of fuel.
The Boeing 737-MAX8 established the final approach to runway 07 at MROC from the southwest, intercepting a heading of 69.0° at 4 NM and descending to 1,345 ft AGL.
At the runway threshold the aircraft was 62 ft AGL, which was above the target height, and the threshold speed was recorded as good at 138 kt.
Touchdown occurred 381 m beyond the designated touchdown zone, with a speed of 128 kt rated as good, a vertical rate of minus 227 fpm rated as fair, and the touchdown point was laterally offset by 9.0 m from the centreline.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 1,304 m, representing 43 % of the 3,012 m runway, and the aircraft remained slightly off centreline by 8.4 m during rollout.
The 87.9 % score reflects solid execution; concentrate on correcting the touchdown overshoot and the centreline deviation to tighten performance.
