The airfield lies at coordinates 45.8436 N, 72.3976 W at an elevation of 361 feet, located between Quebec City and Montreal close to the intersection of highways 20 and 55, roughly fifteen minutes from downtown Drummondville. It operates as an uncontrolled aerodrome, with Montreal Centre providing overlying air traffic control services.
Drummondville has one physical runway, 06/24, oriented roughly northeast-southwest. It is 5,966 feet long with a hard surface and is lit for night operations. There is no ILS installed.
Traffic can be worked on the ATF/UNICOM frequency 122.8 MHz, with Montreal Centre reachable on 128.225 MHz for overlying air traffic control services. The field is equipped with a non-directional beacon (NDB) and a precision approach path indicator (PAPI) on runway 24.
