Overlying air traffic services are provided by Winnipeg Centre, reachable on 135.05 MHz, with a remote communications outlet on 123.475 MHz for Winnipeg Radio.
Lynn Lake has two physical runways. The primary runway, 17/35, is 4,996 feet long with a hard surface and is lit for night operations. The secondary runway, 08/26, is 2,408 feet long, also hard-surfaced, but is not lit. There is no ILS at the field.
Traffic at Lynn Lake works on the Mandatory Frequency of 122.3 MHz for air-to-ground communication. Winnipeg Centre provides area control on 135.05 MHz, and a remote communications outlet for Winnipeg Radio is available on 123.475 MHz. No instrument landing system is installed.
