Oostwold Airfield (ICAO: EHOW), sometimes referred to as Groningen Airport Oostwold, is a small general aviation aerodrome at the village of Oostwold in the municipality of Oldambt, in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is operated by the Stichting Vliegveld Oostwold / Oldambt and serves the nearby town of Winschoten, which lies about three nautical miles to the south. For the visiting VFR pilot it is a quiet, uncontrolled grass field typical of Dutch regional general aviation flying, with a longer main runway and a shorter crossing strip for lighter traffic.
The airfield lies in the province of Groningen, close to Winschoten, and within the wider area served by Groningen Airport Eelde. Radio services associated with the field include Eelde Approach and Eelde Tower frequencies, suggesting that traffic in the vicinity may need to be aware of, and coordinate with, Eelde's controlled airspace and air traffic service when operating in the area.

Oostwold Airfield has long served as a small general aviation base for the Winschoten area of the Groningen province. Historically it has operated with a single grass runway aligned 07/25, part-surfaced with concrete for the first stretch in the 25 direction, though it has since developed into the crossing-runway layout in use today. A notable operating restriction has applied to the field: except for flights arriving from other Schengen countries, international flights are not permitted at Oostwold.
Oostwold remains an active small general aviation airfield, home to a community of local pilots and reported as the home base for several members of the online aviation community. It continues to be run by the Stichting Vliegveld Oostwold / Oldambt, with further information available via the airfield's own website. The long-standing restriction limiting international arrivals to flights from Schengen countries continues to apply.
