Bartlesville Municipal Airport (KBVO) is a City of Bartlesville-owned general aviation field in Osage County, Oklahoma, sited close to the town's downtown area. Bartlesville Municipal Airport is a publicly owned general aviation airport serving the city of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and is operated by the City of Bartlesville. It has no scheduled airline service today, but its long paved runway, ILS approach and resident FBO make it a capable and interesting stop for simulator pilots flying light aircraft, business turboprops or jets around northeastern Oklahoma.
The airport lies in Osage County, Oklahoma; Wikipedia places it about one mile northwest of downtown Bartlesville, while the City of Bartlesville describes it as being in the northwest part of the city, roughly three miles west of the downtown area. It sits under the overlying structure of Kansas City Center, whose frequency (128.8 MHz) is used for en-route and approach advisories in the area. Bartlesville is about 40 miles north of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The airport has a single physical runway aligned 17/35, hard-surfaced and lit. The database records a length of 6,852 ft for runway 17, with an ILS serving that direction, and 6,195 ft for the reciprocal runway 35. Field elevation is 699 ft.

Bartlesville Municipal Airport once hosted scheduled airline service. Continental Airlines flew Douglas DC-3s from the field between 1949 and 1961, including a routing on to Denver, while Central Airlines began operations in 1950 with Beechcraft Bonanzas before progressing to DC-3s and Convair 240s. Central merged into the original Frontier Airlines in 1967, which operated Convair 580s on routes to Kansas City and Tulsa until service ended in early 1974, after which Bartlesville lost scheduled air service permanently. On 12 December 1956 a Lockheed Model 18 Lodestar operated by Phillips Petroleum Company crashed about seven miles southeast of the airport after takeoff, following a single-engine failure and an inability to unfeather the failed propeller; all eight occupants were killed.
Today Bartlesville Municipal Airport is a public general aviation airport open around the clock for takeoffs and landings, complying with FAA safety regulations. It supports a range of general aviation activity including aircraft inspection, maintenance, storage, fuelling and crop-dusting operations, and is home to an FBO, Bartlesville Aviation, offering fuel, towing and hangar storage. The airport has recently benefited from state grant funding toward a new hangar and has completed a taxiway improvement project. It also features the National Biplane Association Memorial Plaza. As of a recent FAA reporting year the airport recorded about 12,362 aircraft operations annually, all general aviation, with 48 based aircraft comprising 38 single-engine, 5 multi-engine and 5 jet types.
