It is a customs aerodrome with a military-civilian designation, reflecting its joint use by the Austrian Armed Forces and civil operators. Approach control in the area is provided by Linz Radar.
The main physical runway, 08/26, is hard-surfaced and lit, measuring 9003 feet in the 08 direction and 9328 feet in the 26 direction, and is equipped with an ILS for instrument approaches. A secondary grass runway, 08L/26R, 1876 feet long and lit, runs alongside it for lighter traffic.
Pilots can expect Linz Radar approach control on 129.62 MHz, tower on 118.8 MHz, ATIS on 128.12 MHz, and an aerodrome/dispatch frequency on 119.75 MHz. The main 08/26 runway is served by an ILS.
