Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,076 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,076 ft of the 8,990 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 2,095 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The aircraft taxied from the parking area to runway 34 at MMSD Aeropuerto Internacional de Los Cabos in 11 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 34, the Boeing 737-800 accelerated to a liftoff speed of 147 kt and left the runway after traveling 5,395 ft, which represented 55 % of the available length; ambient temperature was 97 °F.
Climb commenced 1 mile southwest of Santa Anita, with the aircraft ascending from 1,296 ft asl to 34,991 ft asl, a gain of 33,694 ft achieved in 25 minutes while covering 165 nm.
The first cruise segment began 3 miles south of Baila and continued for 81 minutes, during which the airplane flew 597 nm at level altitude.
Descent started 11 miles south of Quail Creek, with a reduction from 34,572 ft asl to 3,623 ft asl, a loss of 30,949 ft over 23 minutes and a distance of 128 nm.
A brief level cruise followed overhead Aldine, lasting 7 minutes and spanning 21 nm.
The second descent began 1 mile east of Atascocita, descending from 3,109 ft asl to 1,353 ft asl, a decrease of 1,756 ft in 2 minutes while covering 6 nm.
Final approach to runway 26R at KIAH George Bush Intercontinental Houston Airport was conducted from the east on a heading of 270.0°, with the aircraft established at 4 nm and 1,251 ft agl; local temperature was 82 °F, wind 8 kt from 180°, crosswind 8 kt and headwind 0 kt.
Landing on runway 26R, which is 8,990 ft long, occurred with a threshold speed of 146 kt, a touchdown point 743 ft beyond the touchdown zone, and a touchdown speed of 137 kt; the vertical speed at touchdown was minus 139 fpm and alignment was very good.
Rollout covered a total landing distance of 4,824 ft, representing 54 % of the runway, and the aircraft’s centreline alignment was offset by 67 ft.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 8 minutes, traversing another 2 nm.
In total, the flight covered 926 nm, required 157 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 15,105 lbs of fuel.
The Boeing 737-800 established a final approach to runway 26R at KIAH from the east, maintaining a heading of 270.0° at 4 nm and 1,251 ft AGL. Local conditions were 82 °F with wind 8 kt from 180°, providing an 8 kt crosswind and no headwind. The approach featured a good threshold height.
The aircraft crossed the threshold at a speed slightly above target, recorded at 146 kt, and began the flare with the previously noted good threshold height.
Touchdown occurred 743 ft beyond the designated touchdown zone, with a speed of 137 kt described as a little fast. The vertical rate was smooth at minus 139 fpm and runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The total landing distance measured 4,824 ft, representing 54 % of the 8,990 ft runway, and rollout alignment was misaligned by 67 ft from the centreline.
Refine the rollout to maintain centreline alignment, reducing the 67 ft deviation observed. Adjust the touchdown point to remain within the touchdown zone to avoid the 743 ft overshoot while keeping speed near the target. The overall score of 90.6 % indicates the landing was solid, with these minor refinements improving precision.
