Work on the flare
See Arrival Landing
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 4,971 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the full 4,971 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 541 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing Clarksville–Montgomery County Regional Airport (KCKV), the aircraft initiated its takeoff roll on runway 35, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 131 kt in 2,133 ft, which represented 36% of the runway's length. The local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 62 °F and a light wind of 1 kt from 270°, resulting in a negligible headwind or crosswind component.
As the aircraft transitioned to the enroute climb phase, it began ascending from 1,481 ft above sea level to 10,960 ft, a vertical gain of 9,478 ft, in just 4 minutes while covering 18 nm. The climb was initiated 1 mile north of KCKV and concluded 2 miles northeast of Blue Ridge Field (95TN). The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, maintaining an altitude of 10,960 ft for 11 minutes as it covered 72 nm. Subsequently, the enroute descent phase commenced 5 miles south of Palmer Village-Napier Lake Airport (TN21), during which the aircraft descended from 10,999 ft to 2,831 ft in 7 minutes, covering 35 nm. A brief level cruise phase followed, lasting 2 minutes and covering 8 nm, before the aircraft began its final approach to runway 13 at Lawrence Co (9A4).
The aircraft touched down on runway 13 at a speed of 103 kt, with a touchdown distance of 531 ft, which was within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate was firm at -366 fpm, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 23 ft from the centreline. The total landing distance was 2,232 ft, representing 45% of the runway's length. Following a smooth rollout, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, completing the flight in 30 minutes and covering a total distance of 139 nm without consuming any fuel.
The aircraft, C750, successfully completed a landing on runway 13 at 9A4 Lawrence Co from the north west, aligning with the heading of 130.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,241 feet above ground level. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a good threshold height achieved. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 106 knots, indicating a minor deviation from the optimal landing speed.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft demonstrated a good touchdown distance of 531 feet, with a touchdown speed of 103 knots that was within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate was firm at -366 feet per minute, indicating a controlled descent. Although the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 23 feet from the centreline, the aircraft maintained a stable trajectory. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 59°F and a wind of 1 knot at 270°, contributed to a relatively calm environment for the landing.
The total landing distance of 2,232 feet, which accounted for 45% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. During the rollout phase, the aircraft's alignment was slightly misaligned by 34 feet from the centreline, indicating a minor deviation from the optimal path. Despite these minor deviations, the overall performance of the aircraft was satisfactory, earning a score of 95.0%.
