Flight Score
Departure
Ease back pressure in smoothly as you approach 64 kt, holding a steady rotation rate rather than snatching the controls.
What happened: On the takeoff roll the aircraft bounced before becoming fully airborne.
Watch for: Attitude indicator: a smooth, continuous pitch-up through liftoff with no secondary bounce.

Arrival
Level off and trim for level flight earlier after the turn, holding the standard circuit altitude on downwind.
What happened: You flew the downwind leg at 911 ft agl, above the correct circuit height for this pattern.
Watch for: Altimeter: the normal circuit height on downwind.

A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,866 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 233 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Cessna CT206G taxied to runway 23 at EGPE Inverness Airport and commenced the departure roll. The aircraft achieved a take-off distance of 271 m, representing 15 % of the available runway, and rotated at 52 kt. Ambient conditions were 16 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 269°, giving a 1 kt cross-wind component and a 2 kt head-wind component.
During the approach the aircraft entered a right-hand pattern for runway 23. The initial pattern entry covered 1 nm in 32 seconds, followed by a right-hand cross-wind segment of less than 1 nm completed in 18 seconds. The downwind turn spanned 2 nm with a 45° angle to the runway measured at 47.6°, and the subsequent downwind leg covered another 2 nm in 82 seconds. The base turn was 1 nm with a 45° angle of 59.7°, after which the base leg was less than 1 nm and lasted 23 seconds. The final turn to the runway was also less than 1 nm, completed in 35 seconds.
Landing was executed on runway 23, whose length is 1 866 m. The threshold speed was recorded at 68 kt. Touchdown occurred 233 m down the runway at a speed of 56 kt, with a vertical rate of minus 18 fpm and perfect alignment to the centreline. Weather at the time of landing remained 15 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 269°, providing a 1 kt cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind component.
After touchdown the aircraft remained aligned with the runway centreline and rolled out safely, completing the landing phase without deviation.
In total the flight covered 7 nm, required a duration of 5 (units as given), and consumed 0 kg of fuel.
