Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,785 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 355 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 19 at UECT Talakan Airport, where the Cessna CJ4 Citation took off with a takeoff distance of 336 meters, which accounted for 11% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 128 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of -12 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 4 knots at 243 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 2 knots.
As the aircraft climbed out of Talakan Airport, it began its enroute climb 1 mile south of the airport, near the Talakan Oil Field in Respublika Sakha (Yakutiya), Russia. The climb was from an initial altitude of 2,353 feet above sea level to a maximum altitude of 24,191 feet, an increase of 21,838 feet in just 8 minutes, covering a distance of 27 nautical miles.
Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 26 miles north of Talakan Airport and lasted for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 48 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent 71 miles north of Talakan Airport, descending from 24,203 feet to 2,902 feet in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 92 nautical miles.
The descent phase was followed by another level cruise phase, which started 16 miles southwest of Mirny, Respublika Sakha (Yakutiya), Russia, and lasted for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 16 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final approach to runway 07 at UERR Mirny Airport, flying from the southwest at a heading of 56.0 degrees at 2 nautical miles and 420 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 07 at Mirny Airport was successful, with a touchdown distance of 356 meters, which was good, but the touchdown speed of 97 knots was a little fast. The touchdown rate was excellent at -96 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.5 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at Mirny Airport were characterized by a temperature of -22 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 0 knots at 306 degrees, resulting in no crosswind or headwind.
The total landing distance was 934 meters, which accounted for 34% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating a smooth and controlled landing. The total flight distance was 187 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 43 minutes, during which the aircraft used 415 kilograms of fuel.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at UERR Mirny Airport, achieving a score of 99.4%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southwest, heading 56.0° at 2 nautical miles and 420 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with precision, and the aircraft touched down on runway 07, which has a length of 2,785 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was well above the target at 106 knots. This indicates that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent and speed. The touchdown distance of 356 meters was also within acceptable limits, demonstrating the pilot's ability to manage the aircraft's energy and land smoothly.
However, the touchdown speed of 97 knots was slightly faster than desired, which may have resulted in a slightly longer rollout. The touchdown rate of -96 feet per minute (fpm) was excellent, indicating a smooth and controlled touchdown. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.5 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the approach or a minor issue with the aircraft's navigation system.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were cold, with a temperature of -22°C, and calm winds, with a speed of 0 knots at 306°. There was no crosswind or headwind to contend with, which made the landing even more challenging. The total landing distance of 934 meters was 34% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight.
The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot had maintained control over the aircraft's direction and speed during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot demonstrated excellent skills and judgment in executing a precise and controlled touchdown.
