Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,699 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 360 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Beechcraft Baron G58 started at LFMP Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport with a smooth taxi to the runway, taking 4 minutes to cover 1 nm. The departure roll on runway 31 was uneventful, with a takeoff distance of 145 m (13% of the runway) and a liftoff speed of 90 kn. The local weather at the time indicated a temperature of 7 °C, with a wind speed of 8 kn coming from 264° resulting in a crosswind of 6 kn and a headwind of 6 kn.
The enroute climb began over Peyrestortes, France, with the aircraft climbing from 1,262 ft asl to 10,076 ft asl in 8 minutes, covering a distance of 24 nm. Following the climb, the aircraft settled into a level cruise 8 miles northeast of Cervera de la Marenda, France, for 60 minutes, covering a distance of 181 nm.
The enroute descent was initiated 10 miles southeast of Peniscola, Spain, descending from 10,239 ft asl to 2,594 ft asl in 13 minutes, covering 22 nm. The final approach to runway 24 at LECH Castellón-Costa Azahar Airport was executed smoothly, with a final approach from the northeast at 3 nm and 1,470 ft agl.
The landing on runway 24 at LECH Castellón-Costa Azahar Airport was successful, with the aircraft touching down after a 359 m distance at a speed of 72 kn, a little fast but within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate was fair at -273 ft/m, and the touchdown alignment was perfect. The total landing distance was 550 m, covering 20% of the runway length.
After landing, taxiing to the parking from the runway took 4 minutes and less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 232 nm, taking 93 minutes, and using 77 kg of fuel. The flight was completed without any significant issues, with all procedures executed according to standard operating practices.
First of all, congratulations on achieving a landing score of 94.2%! That is an excellent result and showcases your skill and competence as a pilot.
Let's break down the different phases of the landing to further understand your performance.
In the Approach Phase, it was noted that you had a poor descent path above the glideslope limit. This indicates that you may need to work on maintaining a more accurate descent profile in order to stay on track for a smooth landing. Additionally, your threshold speed was well above the target at 94 knots. This could be an area for improvement by ensuring you adhere more closely to the recommended speed for a safer and more controlled descent.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it is great to see that you had a good threshold height, which suggests that you were able to establish a proper approach to the runway. Your landing flare was described as very good, which is essential for a smooth touchdown. However, it was noted that there was poor bank angle stability during landing. It is important to maintain a stable approach angle to ensure a safe and controlled touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was fair at -273 feet per minute. While this could be improved, it is still within an acceptable range. The touchdown speed of 72 knots was a little fast, so you may want to focus on reducing your speed slightly to achieve a more optimal landing. Your touchdown distance of 359 meters was good, indicating that you were able to touch down at an appropriate point on the runway. Furthermore, your runway touchdown alignment was described as perfect, which is a crucial factor for a successful landing.
Overall, your landing score of 94.2% reflects a high level of proficiency in various aspects of the landing process. By focusing on areas such as maintaining a precise descent path, adhering to recommended speeds, and improving bank angle stability, you can further enhance your skills and achieve even better results in future landings. Keep up the great work, and continue to strive for excellence in your flying abilities.
